would it go reeally fast if i make 10 locations to go around and cloack supply depots? My map will have lots of supply depots covering over half the map...

It's an rpg so i need it done fast so peeps can get playing.

Well, with hyper triggers it can go 7/second with one location. I dont know if it really makes it faster with more locations. I looked on maps like Diplomacy when turns ur regular units into special...Looking at how the triggers are built in those maps, and noticing when i play, i would say there is a speed increase. (when you get tank special/ghost special, it seems they are both going at the same time. since in diplo maps they dont use hyper triggers and it goes one by one and you can tell if more than 1 is being replaced)

So 10 locations x 7 = 70 a second? Im not sure. Why not just try it and see? Shouldnt be that hard. Make one and copy 10 times and change the location you want to move.

one location can go around cloaking a lot of units VERY QUICKLY. if you have only supply depots to be cloaked and they all belong to a single player, use this:

Player X controls at least 1 supply depot

Center Location 'Location' on Supply Depot owned by Player X
Give one Supply Depot owned by Player X to Player Y at 'Location'
Disable Doodad for Supply Depot owned by Player Y at 'Location'

[optional]create 1 observer for Humans
[optional]remove 1 observer for Humans
Preserve Trigger

50 Supply Depots should then be turn 'invisible' in about .. 5-7 seconds? Maybe less. Copy the Trigger with multiple Locations and it will go that much faster happy.gif

With hypertriggers it will go sufficiently fast. However, adding more locations won't spped it up (I'm pretty sure)

Adding more locations will speed it up so long as each location gets a the same trigger as the one i made..with the location changed (duh). Make sure you know what you're talking about happy.gif

No it wont. Lets say you have 3 locs and 3 triggers liek yours. THe game will center with loc 1 and disable, center wiht loc 2 and disable, and cent with loc 3 disable with 84 mS gap between. With 1 loc it disables, 84 mS gap, then re-runs triggers. No difference.

...you realize each location WILL go to a different supply depot right? tongue.gif

You can use 1 location on any amount of suply depots you want. Just do

conditon:
w/e
always:
center locaton w/e on depot owned by player 8
disable suply depot at location w/e
create ob at location
wait 50 miliseconds
remove ob at location
give supply depot owned by player 8 to player 7
preserve trigger

With that it'll go around because the one its on will be owned by a different player by the time the trigegr goes again.

You can use more locations to speed thigns up, but unless you have 1 for each depot, you have to change the ownership or it'll just disable the same one.

If you want the Supply Depots out of the way, just stack em. :/

No, they won't. If you center all locations before you disable and give the depots, then all the locations will center on the same one. If you disable, then center next loc, it will run at exactly the same speed.
