_-=The Legends of the ÆCHOS=-_This map is a map that is based a lot like real time...at the begininng, there is a playable introduction. The game starts of slow, forcing you to get your own guns by talking to people Etc. After you gwt your gun/weapon, you imediatly head out on a journy to find and decode scriptures of the people of ÆCHO, an old town that died centuries ago, i wont reveal anything else about this map, so in a while i will update the pose
Will you at least reveal what time period it's most like? Is it most like modern times? is it like the part of the Iron Age where they had guns?
You didn't really arouse my interests much with that introduction to your production thread, you only made me wonder what time period it was set in.
Well sure, it does sound kind of linear (read: like most other RPGS), but thats jsut because he doesn't want to reveal too much. But really, what I want to know is, what is up wiht everyone maknig cities/rpgs/anything else using ae? Ive seen that in legend of haean or something like that, and now thislol.
Sort of off topic: Why is the symbol Æ getting so popular in maps?
AE Is The Fo shizz'le ...
By the way: Try to give hell'va lot more information like: Story, gameplay, Misc., Terrain, Maybe some Pics...

007Torrasque runs to corner and cries
i just like the æ
I don't know if this would reveal too much, but why is the city dead. Is that part of the reason your there, or an inconveniance as you look for the scriptures or...the opportunites are endless. It sounds cool though.
Offtopic:
Maybe you should fix up your spelling // Grammar before posting so people can have better understanding of you map.
OnTopic:
So pretty much, " heroes " people who dig up the pass looking for clues. To see what happen to this " ancient " race? Run into some trouble demons, ghost, monsters, Fiends. So have arm themselfs protect agains creatures, while exploring the ancient temples and looking for clues? Kinda sounds like the mummy =/
Sounds like the main characters are archaeologists checking out an abandoned city. What would make it much more interesting is if it were an undead city.
That would be sorta like Necropolis (city of the undead from Ravenloft).
I should make a map about going to Necropolis, but my brother doesn't like me making maps because it takes up space. It won't matter since we now have an 80 GB harddrive.

Let me guess... Jungle Tileset with those apparently-native-American-but-supposedly-Protoss carvings/doodads.
Honestly, I really don't care about stuff like this.
One word that's the MOST important in RPG's:
Interface
No matter how many times I've stressed this, people still go on rambling about the storylines.
What the players really care about are ITEMS, SPELLS, HOW YOU LEVEL UP, etc.
Without those elements, you might as well just go write a novel.
Well just for record I thought of the so called 'daemons' name for A&O before Legacy of Hæn, but I'm not using the 'æ' for it.
I just thought 'demons' would be too generic.
Isn't daemon the british way of spelling demon? Cuz on all the Warlords Battlecry games they use the spelling daemon instead of demon.
Not to mention The Golden Compass. It's a "young adult" book.
