Report, edit, etc...Posted by OriginalG. on 2004-10-08 at 17:40:07
I cant get it to work and i am very sure I did everything correct, here it is:
Condition:
Player 6 commands exactly 7 vespene sac
Player 6 brings at least 1 any unit to "sac"
Action:
Enable invincibility for any unit owned by player 6 at anywhere
Preserve trigger

Can someone point out what I did wrong.

Impossible to tell without context. Tell us more about other triggers in your map or post the map.

Oviously you didn't do it correctly because it doesn't work. Then you tell us your non working trigger expecting us to fix it? How are we suppost to even know what you want if all you tell us is conditions and actions of a trigger that doesn't do what it is suppost to do in the first place?

Either player 6 doesn't have 7 Vespene Sacs or doesn't have any unit at "sac". Check those... else add something else that would make it obvious to tell if the trigger is running, "display text: OMFG I AM RUNNING", or "add 5000 minerals for all players", etc.

Here is the map. The trigger is under Cell and is the last one.

The last trigger is just a comment... wth? It's the third to last trigger under 'Cell'

I've seen this map before... i suppore u r editing a bug in this map or u r the original map maker. However i checked your 'Cell' triggers and could not even find an action that modifies invincibility. If the trigger does execute... then just add a 'set invincibility'. I'm too lazy to play the whole game, collect the dragon balls and test if the triggers execute at all. You shuld know.

Yes you can.
SCXE trigger action 'Set Invincibility'

Just remember that Invincible units will be completely ignored by enemy units, so it's actually more like "in[b]vis[b]ible". I think it'd look cooler if you just do a constant heal, since it creates the effect of taking hits but never dying.
