i have played afew bounds and i have seen the blood stay there... do you remember what bound this was in? or can you add an attachment containing the bound?

Couldn't you just remove unit at location before it died? Or do you want the blood to be there momentarilly then go away?

I am almost 100% sure this is impossible, but in SF can't you make a trigger removing the blood (sprites)?

You're probally right about that. Isn't anything that isnt a unit or doodad a sprite, because you can walk through it (exlucding terrian)?

EDIT: Correct me if I am wrong please.

Any sprite placed in the "Sprite" mode of StarForge is completley transparent (You can walk right through it).

it was in tabias bound and u see the blood for a little while then hits ground and gone.. it might be sprites b/c this was the same bound i talked about in a different topic that would crash my editor when i looked at triggers.. for some reason though i cant even open it ne more... it says its protected but ive opened it before

Yea it is a nice idea but it wouldn't work. Sprites can't be the target of triggers.

More like other blood sprites are being displayed elsewhere which increases the cleanup time on the blood.

Try killing a bunch of marines continually in a far away corner and when your marine dies his blood SHOULD disappear rather quickly. I haven't tested this but it seems logical for it to work.

what spire do u think it would be? and what editor should i use to place it?

im no pro this is speculation but can triggers affect sprites or disabled units, and if they can y would someone use them in a bound when strings and triggers are already an issue, if it is a sprite then the sprite would be a ghost, go into starforge and select sprites from the dropdown menue then just select a ghost, tada ghost sprite

but the ghost explodes from a trigger... and i dont kno censored.gif about strings

Yes; no. DIsabled units are not sprites. Sprites are "glued" tot he terrain and ar eunaffected by triggers. Disabled units are still treated as units by the game enginge and have their own properties.

have there own properties, asin unique properties only for disabled units or, have properties like other units, and does that mean that disabled ghosts could be what Ninja is seeing?

I mean they have their own properties as to which triggers affect them and whether they crash.

Triggers cannot effect sprites

Thats a good idea but if you were to create that many units / sprites it would lag far to much to make it usefull. Besides the sprite max is larger than the unit max.

If it isn't a hallucinated unit then its ither an illusion / missinterpretation or possably one of those weird units they discovered a while back (227+ thing using SF)

If Bolt doesn't have an answer then I am pretty sure the answer is that no, this is not possible, and we would probably like to see this map that does this (Well I wanna see it ermm.gif).
