i made a thread about this not to long ago, acouple of days, any way there are other programs too like starforge 2.1 i think that does it too dont know havnt checked and scm draft 2 havnt even dled that one tongue.gif, but im pretty sure that scxe 2.6 will also place minerals right beside a startlocation for melee maps

use xtra like the other people said, sf and scm draft are for advanced map makers

i find that SF is what i use more, and i am a newb map maker, the only thing advanced about SF is the triggers so i usually use something else like scxe or the original (placing locations with the original is just so secksy)

SCMDraft
StarForge
SCXE

Any of those will work.

SCXE Base Edition doesn't have it, but it has a Snap-to-Grid function not in many of the other Editions.

Use Starforge for very good grid alignment.
SCMD Works too.

Honestly if you didn't know how to put Minerals next to Command Centers, I highly unrecommend you use Starforge at all.

Also if you have a Pre-2000 computer, Starforge may not run for you at all. Keyword: MAY

Use starforge if you can get it working. I say starforge because your next question will undoubtably be how to stack minerals. Also, if you place minerals too close to the start location they will not appear.

Bulet Butler fit aht were so then why is it exactly that in all of the "Fastest" maps the minirals are so close to the CC\Nexus\Hatchery that the units dont even have to move to drop them into the building, the only way that i can see that can be done is by placing the minerals right beside the startlocation without actualy placing it ontop of the startlocation.
