Tears of the Fallen
This map that I am making will be a diplo like map. This map will be 6 players. Anyway into the good stuff. First off you start with a large city that is on the brink of starvation and you need to gain more food and supplies fast. Your city will have a control center for it that is elsewhere and from there you can bolster defences, create more barracks, lower or raise taxes, create more farms, or create more industry but only at the cost of supplies. Every City has these controls and small citys you conquer can eventually with time and supplies can grow into a large protected city. On to another aspect the main map is kind of small and has rivers and such and the citys. Citys on the main map are small and depending from wat side you enter the city at you will appear on that side which when attacking can affect your strategy. More indepth for those that don't get this in its own squared off area is your city. On the main map is a building that represents your city. If that city has walls the main map building will have walls around it. But when you bring men to the building on the main map it will transport your men to the squared off area with the city and as i said the side you attack from or enter from determines from where you enter the squared off area with the city in at. As for taxes they affect a city in many ways. No Taxes then your Barracks produce more men and farmers grow more food but in turn you get no money(supplies). High Taxes then you get a lot of supplies but farmers produce less and your barracks produce less men and high taxes if left on long enough can cause discontent in your cities causing to rebellions with in the city. Normal Taxes every1 is happy and farmers produce adequate food and you get adequate supplies. Every man you have in your army cost you food and supplies each turn which is either gonna be 3 or 5 minutes.Which into more stuff there will be no upgrades, you do not build men instead you build up barracks in your citys and each barrack produces a set amount of men based on your tax rate at the end of the turn unless you tell the city not to produce any men, and also by building more farms and factorys in a city it will increase the citys income amount. I should have a 2 player beta finished with in a week or two. If you have ideas plz be free to leave them.
When in the control panel of the city and you choose to bolster unit production then after 30 seconds in a set area that will ping 10 seconds before then will kill all units there so there is no can no place then a barrack is spawned. As for the how it will do the giving units thing is that at each area that a barracks spawns if a barracks is present and watever your tax level is then it will create how ever many men at the location the barracks is at.
