Staredit Network

I think the title/description are pretty self-explanatory.

We'll just do a SC version of everything that's happened in the past 2, 3 weeks, from Icy-Hell's demise to SEN's own sack.

Then we'll send it to Yoshi on Christmas.

Hey that a quite good idea, The only thing i could do is... terrain.

Someone is in charge of the scenario?

I'll be up for it.
Just gimme terrain and storyline and i'll make something decent then give the map to someone good so that he can make some final changes.

When Icy-Hell "was" an enemy?

Everyone hazed it because they stole maps. They probably still do, and should not be our ally simply becaused we both got hacked by Synd][cate. It was their fault it happened anyway.


But anyway, here's the introduction:

At first there was this guy named Yoshi da Sniper (I say we make he a Ghost) who, with the support of his friend Shadow Paladin (Marine), made a site called Staredit.net (Command Center). Many others joined the site as well like Bolt_Head, Deathknight, MiniMoose, and Spaceboy (start with Civilians and turn into other more distinct units, like Moose's Carrier in his signature). Then some more people (Civs) flock in and SEN flourishes. One of the Civilians was me, the narrator, who is distinguished by a slightly different color.

Blah blah blah, stuff happens.

Then one day as Yoshi was surfing around the web (Wraith going around Barracks' and Factories and whatnots) he clicks on one of our affiliates, Icy-Hell (Hatchery). As he checks out its download database (Spawning Pool), he suddenly sees maps from SEN: without their authors' names! (evil Infested Terrans)

Tell me what you think about what I have so far.

Note: Synd][cate will probably be an Arbiter Warping in like Mutalisk hordes or something.

Everything will be representative, e.g. Yoshi's a Ghost (sniper), Civilians (new people) turn into well-known people, and an Arbiter Warping in Mutas will represent sneaking in and causing sudden chaos.

I'm ready to help... but probably all I'll do is triggers.

I'm not that good at storylines I just apply them.

hey this is an awsome idea, you have to get tux because he owns at making movies. i dont think youd need my help...

or you could even make it an rpg where you fight off evil demons like icy hell and syndicate and help SEN survive, kind of like outpost rpg.

Furthermore... I think Yoshi made Outpost RPG.

That's what it had said in the DL Database anyway.

I'm fairly sure of my source, because it's my memory.

RPG wouldn't fit very well, I think movie's good.

SYMBOLISM is what will occupy most of the map.

i can do the sounds

Theoretically it sounds nice, but I don't think it'd make a good movie. But it's all about how it's implemented, really. You can make even the crappiest concept into a work of art if you know how.

Well... like I said (apparently nobody read it), there's going to be implicit meanings in everything, even the units we use to represent people. This may be the first map to actually be a piece of LITERAL art, not just mapping.

Contacting Yoshi... wouldn't/shouldn't Moose have his non-SEN email address?

First off I would like to help but problems. We don't know Yoshi's new name, the point of making this map? I don't think he will be happy if we made fun if Icy hell or whatever.

Yoshi=Mike Lat. He's this big 17-year-old kid who Spaceboy (who met him in person) described as being able to turn someone into "pulp".

Tributes don't have to be for DEAD people. They can be for people who have left us in a different manner.

Bring me a storyline and terrain and I'll get started.

I think its a great idea and if yoshi ever got around to looking at it, it might convence him to come back to SEN.

Hey sessase, here's an idea, make the idea of staredit being canada with colour green and icyhell (blue) this tiny island on the right (I got the idea from the funny as picture someone posted). Then we start to storm them with wraiths representing forces of SEN. Then syndicate suddenly goes around everything and stabs icyhell and SEN in the back. Make it be like a war with kewl animation and stuff. So basically for the terrain, make it like a warefare '3D' terrain for canada and icyhell, remembering the sea between them and just leave some space in case we need them.

I didn't proofread this, sowwi if it doesn't make sense.. i gota sleep soon.

*Idea pops* If we can do it a movie mod, I think it will be even better.

But I'm sure that Yoshi still is 'round but on a more secluded form...

Boy is this awkward... I haven't finished with my WoS2, and I never really said I wanted to be the one making this map (I suppose it was implied in the storyline place).

I never said that you had to do it. I said that I was willing to do the majority of trigger/location work. Once I finish my part, you guys can keep adding stuff but no so heavily.

Sessase wants to do the terrain and let him do it.

You guys can work on a detailed storyline which im not good at. But make sure that you also write the stuff that will happen in the map.

Umm... is anyone willing to do this anymore?
