First of all are the doors doodads or units? Second of all, finish the map, then go into StarForge and change the colors. That way you'll never have to switch between editors.

well you can switch colors in SCM draft and then do triggers in starforge. or you can just change them everytime you test your map out. hope that that helps at all.

But if i change the colors... The Doors mess up in SF

You should know what i mean where there turn sideways on teh wall and become a sprite...

Does it do that in SCM?

Ill check and Edit post with Answer

EDIT:

SCM draft leaves the doodads the way there suposed to...

When chancing unit colors SCM draft works well with Xtra

yea thats exactly why i dont like using starforge, its just way too buggy. but good luck with your map and hope its a big success.

When using doodads use SCMD, but for sprites use StarForge.

For doors, disabling them (using Set Doodad State) closes the door, and enabling opens the door. Your triggers should have something to do with the fact that a player one unit goes to the door, not any unit owned by any player because then the aliens would be opening doors and that would be gay.
Also you could use a switch for each door to prevent a door from constantly closing itself when no unit is near it. This could cause lag because it is one trigger constantly going off.

Starforge doesn't mess up the doors, It just doesn't display them correctly.

SCMDraft will restore all Doodads and Units converted by Starforge into Sprites, so they will work again, if you view in SCMDraft and save.

Bolt is right. Place the doors with X-tra, then go into StarFroge and change the player colors. It looks messed up, but the doors will be fine when you play the map on SC. I have tested this before once when I was pissed at StarFroge, and they were just too lazy to make it display correctly.

If you make a door with the StarForge Doodad pallette, will it be able to open and close? If they could, that couls solve his problem.
