Wow. You wasted your money on 3 and 4!? Those are the only two Twisted Metals games I refuse to play or even acknowledge as Twisted Metal games.

I played 1, 2 and 3, didn't know there were a forth. First was good, second was better, third was deceiving and from what people said, fourth is worst buying & burning... I liked it in general, makes me think of Mario Kart someway... Old times.

Twisted Metal.... great game. I rented it and played it for hours on my PS1 on that. I was always that clown Ice Cream truck dude... altough I don't really remember the game that much. :/

Basically you have bunch of trucks and cars and stuff. You drive around and they have machine guns mounted to them and you can pick up Missiles and stuff. Destroy the other cars. Good fun. :rofl:

Yeah, in 3 I'm Mr. Grimm and in 4 I have my own car (van with a laser). I'm the self killing guy too, but I usually launch a mortar while facing a wall or something stupid like that.

In the first one I had no preference to my car. But in the second one, oh god, no one could stop me if I was Axel. He pwns. I played three and four and immediately threw the cd's in my "frisbee collection" along with my AOL cd's and disks. Or in other words: the trash.
Twisted Metal: Black was godly. This is the must have game for the Twisted Metal series. If you buy only one to try it out, get Black. And then small brawl, the last PSO one made, was pretty good.
The objective in the game is to drive around your choosen vehicle and eliminate your opponents. You can pickup missiles, bombs, turbo's, etc to help you on your way. And you can use additional abilities with your mana provided which fills up slowly to be used again. Abilities like laying mines, freeze blasts, jumping, shields, etc.
Its a lot of fun, especially when you team up with a friend against as many computer opponents as you can cram into the game.

yeah, that is fun. in the last level of 4 my friend had to go just as sweet tooth came so i had to beat him with both controllers at once. man thats hard

Oh man Twisted metal is one of the worst game series ever made, heres a novel idea:
Strap some weapons to a car and let em' lose at eachother. :rofl:
Maybe it sounds good but the only good one in the series is TW:Black online for PS2, and only because it was free when you bought an online adapter. At least thats just what I think.

Its a dumb idea for a single player game, but a lot of games like that get better when played multiplayer.

the point is, you enjoy something for awhile, and then everything drops away... then you restart the whole thing all over again!
