Hey everyone I am new to the forums and my names not Joe its Holly lol. I am not new to mapmaking though and I just wish to seek ideas to make the game perfect.

Infantry - Twin Peaks
Based on Sony Infantry

Objective:
2 teams (3 vs 3) face off against each other on a huge battlefield and try to capture all the flags which are located throughout the map.

Map:
Each team starts off in a dropship (not unit) which has 4 teleports to 4 different locations accross the map. The battlefield is designed with maximum battle experiance. With bridges, 2 levels, stations, cover fields and more.

Players:
There will be of 6 classes to choose from at the start
Marine, Medic, Sniper, Mechanic, Cloaker and Squad Leader
*Mechanic can place turrets including machine gun turret and a rocket turret but in order to do so they need to gather ore which can be found accross the map
*Cloaker is for sneaking into enemy bases with cloak to steal flag, kill people or w/e
*Squad Leader can summon other teammates to his location
*Since 3 vs 3 is small each player is given 3 units making it 9 on 9

Vehicles:
There will be of 3 different types of vehicles players can use to their advantage
Tank x 1, Mech x 2, Slick x 1
*The tank and slick are operated by 2 players. 1 player is the driver the other is the shooter, the mech is a single man vechicle.
*The slick is a vechicle with a mounted machine gun

Items:
This will be using the ammo system, therefore you need to buy ammo for your gun which can be bought on your dropship (starting point, after you die you respawn there). As well there will be other items you can buy such as mines, armor, custom vechicles and more

So basically this is my major project which I'm aiming for it to completed around christmas this year. If you have any ideas, comments, feedback I greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Sounds neat. Only thing I can think of that might be a problem is that if you have multiple units at once, the ammo will affect all those units. Also,m with two people operating the tank, will there be a back-up way to play incase someone leaves and you can't move or attack?

The problem I found with multiple units as well was with the ammo thats why I'm making my own system, thats multiple unit ammo system to fix this. Then with vehicles there will be an exit key the whole time so no worries there. then you can enter again and become the driver or whatever. As well what I was thinking was a 4 on 4 each person gets 2 units and if someone leaves 2 ppl get 1 more unit. As if someone was to leave it would very well make the teams unfair.
