Yes it will come out because EGM (Electronic Gaming Monthly) has shed some light on the subject. It should come out around 2006, because Sony is nearly complete with the designs for the ps3's microprocessor.

I first heard ps3 was being made in 2000, and was supposed to be in stores in 2002, so I am not sure if it is ever going to be sold.

Hmm, the same year as the new Windows..... obviously nothing good will come out that year.

Sony is working on PS3 But theyve had some trouble topping XBox, for some reason. XBox 2 Is completed, and was a while ago, but they refuse to release it until PS3 is released, saying "They would like to see them top this". The American/Japaneese Gaming War has begun.

Not every XBox game is ported to the PC.. just 90 percent of them

ive heard of both the extention of ps 2 and ps3, the extention of ps2 is like a half of an inch thick or something like that and ive only heard of the release of ps3 but i kno they will pull off this stunt like the one they did with the ps2 release

My friend was telling me that the new ps3 is not even going to surpass xbox1.
And correct me if im wrong but isnt the xbox2 coming out the same year as the ps3 (friend again) i doubt that hes telling the truth on this second one.

Second Comment: it is but like 6-8 months after ps3, but it COULD be same year, like ps3 could come out in december and xbox2 in the next year, but they will def be within a 12 month period,
as for the first comment, uhh no, ps3 will def surpass xbox, but not xbox2 thats a definate nono

nononnno, the PSP is PlayStation Portable, it's a handheld mini-PS2 (like Game Boy but for more advanced), they are also hinting that it might be a pocket computer as well.

No duh it'll come out if they're working on it. PS3 is gonna rock. An off topic note, I have recieved confirmation from a Blizzard employee while playing Starcraft that SC2 will be 3D. His group is not working on it, but he saw some pictures, he saw 1 new race. Back on topic, I am sooo gonna buy PS3, I'm saving up right now.

I've been hearing and reading about Xbox 2 and PS3....my opinon is that its too soon because most people just bought an Xbox and a PS2 becuase of Halo 2 and GTA: San Andreas....so they should hold it off till oh lets say...2006 for PS3 and 2008 for Xbox 2....that would be most appropriate.
