I don't know how to make 3d buildings, and yoshi's video is WAY to big for me to dl! So an explanation and maybe a few pics would be really nice.

Well if you can't watch the tutorial I would suggest just looking at maps with this feature in them, and messing around with starforge... I would definatly suggest the video though...

From ym limitied terraining knowledge I think you go into the brush pallete in either Starforge or SCMdraft and draw them using the tiles, one tile at a time.

You have to draw them using the tiles (like Dt said) using (preferably) StarForge. You should use the Badlands tile set, but there are probably more that work.
You have to use the base of a platform brush, then do the edges and roof etc. using those fine tunes tiles.

It is when you make it look like there is a building like a house or something somewhere. It is often used in combination with sprites to create crazy looking RPG settings. If Yoshi's The Matrix: Alpha is still in the DLDB then you can look at that.

He said what is 3d buildings video tongue.gif
If you meant what you said;
It's a movie by the Former and Grand Admin, Yoshi_da_Sniper, tat shows precisely how to make 3d buildings.

If you meant What are 3d buildings;
They're houses etc made by using terrain to create houses that look 3d.
The name itself should be the giveoff tongue.gif

ok what you really need to do to understand this process properly is to set the the file to start buffering (it doesnt actually bring up a dl thing, it just starts to buffer) and go to bed or so something for awhile. and if you are still not going to do this for any given reason here is a link to a map that i am working on. in this map there is one 3d building that has been completed with a parkinglot infront. and DT i would most definately not create a 3d building tile by tile it is far to tedious, what you need to do is go into StarForge click custom on the side menue while u are on the terrain layer. then you click create new brush, then u need to open up the master tile pallet. select the tiles you want in your custom brush and put them in there apropriately. to show you what i mean i will add an attachment with a custom brush that is apart of my map.

heh sorry dont seem to be able to add custom brush tiles

The_Blackness, that is one ugly building, why did you mess up the middle like that? and the roof doesn't even fit... It just doesn't look like a buidling...

Oh, and by the way, whoever wants to see the tutorial can click this link :
