Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> I have heard of hypertriggers

I have heard of hypertriggers but I don't know how to use them/what program I need to use to use hypertriggers. I would really like it if the Tutorials Database explained everything about hypertriggers.

Thanks in advance.

They do.

Basically, hyper triggers make triggers go WAYYY faster. (12.2 times to be exact) or at least I think it was tongue.gif . You should make hypertriggers for ONE player...and for that player you can't use waits because they will be blocked by the hypertriggers.

to make a hyper trigger all you need to do is:

Players: a computer that does not use any wait triggers.

Conditions: Always:

Actions: wait for 0 seconds (you need to copy this trigger as many times as you can, then delete the last one and place preserve trigger)

copy this trigger 3 times so there are 4 of these.

wa-la all triggers in the game fire 12.2x faster than normal. Make sure that the computer you are making these for does not have any wait triggers becuse then the hyper triggers wont work, and the wait triggers wont work either

lol stupid "12.2" I highly doubt that is as accurate as the significant digit dictates.

Does anyone here know EXACTLY how fast triggers fire WITHOUT hyper triggers? If you dont' you can't say how much faster they are can you.

It takes .75 seconds for the trigger to fire.

Then that would make hyper triggers fire 15.7 times faster than normal triggers. Because hyper triggers fire 11.8 times per second.

I don't know theres time for human reaction speed. I just used a stop watch to time the speed between a triggers firing smile.gif

LOL wow what a good way to do that lol. I would explain how I came up with my number but it would take to long.

Edit: Found it (when we were talking about it) http://www.staredit.net/index.php?showtopi...762&#entry31762

Edit 2: another thing i found funny, My post following the linked one I concluded that wait 0 is rounded to .0842seconds. or .84 milliseconds, I just realized that exactly the number Dabuu gave us when he had all his hyper trigger talk, and pointed out the smallest increment of time for a wait is 84 milliseconds. (lol i just feel so proud)
