i like going around playing maps i have had for a long time and c what they have and came across this in one of the 7v1 hard comp games

i made this picture so it was easyer to c but i couldnt find a trigger for it but whats happining is that 1 carrier is making all those intercepters other words
the carrier had 10's of 100's of intercepters
Hmm if it is a map, perhaps the interceptors are being created???
however, I know in a MOD that you can change the max limit of subunits. if you do this, all units with subunits will have an infinite number, instantly generated. This would be hatcheries and Carriers.
Oh yea, maybe there is a hack going on.
If theres a trigger for that sum1 on SEN will find out.
Huh.
I thought moving Interceptors would work.
But moving Scarabs/Interceptors and how to get them to do what you want isn't soemthing I've ever found a use for, so I've never used it.
But I'll trust that, since it's not the first thing suggested, that deosn't work.
I had to read the topic a few times to understand. Won't the interceptors dies if they don't have a carrier? Since carriers can only have a max of 8 interceptors.
I don't think there is a trigger for it...
Trigger could constantly create them then the creat-die-etc.
I can only see that two of them are actually attacking. The problem is if you seperate interceptors from there carrior they will loose there AI of attacking, So ither there are a bunch of carriors that were moved after they started to attack or some complex triggers are making it appear like more than the normal amount are attacking. I think the first case is more likely. That or it is a mod like DT_BC said.
Edit: Now that i look back on it i think it would be the first thing with the carriors being moved away. The reason i think this is if there was an AI then the interceptors would all be facing the same direction and none of them would be able to attack (unless there multiple players of the same color). Also in the upper right hand corner some appear to be leaving the area compleatly.
I count at least 6 pulse cannon shots.
Yeah i see more of them now, read my edit lol.
Edit Again: Yeah the minimap appears to be at the top area of the map so they can't retreat to the upper right. Must be a mod unless I'm missing out on something compleatly new to me. Also they appear to be attacking an allied "thing" cause everything i see is owned by the player who took the screen shot. Also it is single player (more evidence to support it being a mod)

that cant be true...look at the mini map there is no other carriers in the map
mybe those are attacking something else
[Edit] oh ..yea i guess there could be more players with the same colour bsing each other or something lol
A carrier cant attack itself and it looks that way...
Because interceptors always circle around the unit they attack.
I think you are attacking that carrier with other carriers blocked from view by that bottom panel...
Or someone else is attacking you

Actually, I've had a carrier attack itself once. I don't know why, but it was the only Carrier in the area, I was the only Teal person in the game, and no matter what I did, the Interceptors wouldn't stop. I had just that one Carrier, and it kileld itself. When it died, the Interceptors did. Anyways, that only happened once to me so I doubt it is happeneing here.
Perhaps thay are hallucinated.
edit:
Wai, they are light green on the minimap so they can't be hallucinated, unless Interceptors look normal when hallucinated form glitches, or they retain the color because thay are glitchy. I dunno.
i have a Q cant people be the same or almost the same color by using starforge? if yes then how do we kno the enemy isnt blue also and they ARE hallucinations
i mean y would he have attacked himself and his own carrier? it doesnt make that much sense
to screw with us -_-;;
edit- notice how the image is a JPG not the usual screenshot PCX
did they just appear there randomly?? or did u make them from it cause u could place them couldnt u?

Yeah its nice to have images in a format that internet browsers can handle easyly and not take up a ton of space.
I believe that in Starforge you can have Carriers with more than 8 interceptors and reavers with more than 10 scarabs... try it out.
No, StarForge doesn't have the ability to edit the limit, only having an edited starcraft.exe will allow more then normal. Anyway, you can tell it's a mod or the carriers are hidden from the current view.
Judging from the screenshot, YOU took the screenshot. Why not just tell us what you did? Or attach the map?
Could it possibly be hallucinations? Is there a trigger to make a computer hallucinate its own interceptors?

Geez, you don't mod the EXE. You mod the MPQ and it's components.
Fake.
If you can see a little bit to the left of the move button(Arrow) you can clearly see a blur that dosen't appear in starcraft.
It is a mod.
Why didn't anyone demand to see the map other than moose?
I
demand you post the map... but for now, nice photoshop job.
1. It's impossible for a unit to have 2 or more hp over the limit set and not be the original Starcraft HP.
2. That game is singleplayer, there are no other players in the game.
3. A carrier can not controll more than its max ammount. You can't just make interceptors attack with triggers either. There must be a carrier to order them to attack. Also if there are more interceptors than carriers can hold, they will be destroyed.
4.

There. Four perfectly good reasons on why that picture is either a mod, a hack, or just fake.
Also possibly another reason: Is it just me or does it seem the interceptors are not attacking properly? Hmm??

It is an explosion.
In all my years of starcraft I ahve never seen an explosion like that before.
