Samus would win obviously. If your a halo fan, saying Samus would win doesn't mean you hate halo. So you can say she wins

That morph ball moves pretty quick buddy, not to mention the bombs it has, also its made out of Titaium or something if you stepped on it your foot would break -.-

Her technology is far too superior.
It's like taking the Covenant, merging them with Protoss, and throwing them a few thousand years into the future.
Let's say MasterChief tries to use a Rocket Launcher. God it's so fugling slow, Samus could easily dodge it despite how slow she is.

MA5B: They'll just bounce off her armor

M6D: Okay, maybe they'll scratch the paintjob

S2AM: 4 shots, a fair bit of damage, but suddenly the MAsterChief has a barrage of missiles to his sides, straight at him, and above him while reloading

Flares: If Samus can easily run around in lava and exert her suit to do things that would cause a normal human to overheat a LOT in normal conditions, then what good would a plasma grenade that can't even kill a Hunter do to her?

Concussive: Okay, Concussive Grenades are even weaker than Flares, so no question here

NOW, on the other side of the field

Screw Attack: The MasterChief can't survive a Spanker Missile. Samus' missiles are apparently weaker, but not even a few hundred of them can kill what a single Screw Attack will obliterate. The MC will get slaughtered if he moves in close at all. Also, Screw Attacking renders Samus invulnerable to energy weapons, meaning Flares, Plasma Pistol, Plasma Rifle won't do anything to her, and then she has Space Jumping...

Ball Mode: Samus can survive falls that take over a minute to reach the ground. There's no way any of the MC's weapons will match that. The BallMode is pretty much invincible except to Plasma weapons, which are hardly strong enough to do much anwyay

Power Bombs: OKay, these are weak, but they will still hurt the MC some

Charged Beam: A Charged Plasma PISTOL shot will completely deplete an Overshield in 400% mode, even if the energy has to travel through and entire Tank to hit the 'Chief. The Power beam is probably about a quarter as powerful as an FRC. Now, add the Plasma Beam which makes it far more powerful by several times, the Charge Function which will further increase it by maybe 2 times, and it will be more like a condensed Wraith Mortar Cannon.

Super Missiles: These are like minuature Spanker Rockets, maybe a quarter as powerful. 3 of them and the Chief is dead, besides the fact that they will also instantly chill him to sub-zero tempuratues for a few seconds, atleast.

Jumping: Even without High-Jump Boots, even without Space Jump, Samus can jump to a couple times her own height as seen in Super Metroid or Metroid Fusion.

Now, the real question is...
Take out all that blastard technology, and throw them into a street alley with nothing but their clothes and their muscles, NOW who would win?

Or pit them in an urban combat fight with nothing but light protective vests(anything you have can you help you in combat, I guess... you just have to think of a use) and pistols.

we'll see i say the winner will be whichever game sequal Halo 2 or Metroid Prime 2: Echoes sells more.....guess we will have to wait and see (ITS MASTER CHIEF!!!! he'll kick samus BACK to the future)

Evenn though I am a major Halo fan I have to say that Samus would win. With her far-superior technology she would blow him away in a few seconds, although if they were both out of their armor and had no weapons and it was hand to hand, I think the MC would win because of all his psyicle augmentations and the like (I dont know if Samus had any enhancements)

I didin't know who Samus was until i saw the pics. Anyways, since I know who Master Chief is. I guess he would win. He looks cooler too and halo is cool. So ya Master Chief you win. But if you think about it, Samus looks like a big guy (is he a robot?) so if you compare i think Samus would win but i know who it is so...

Just so you know, Samus is a girl...also SHE is in a heavy armored suit (I dont play the games) so ya....

See though, if you have played both Metroid Prime and Halo, you should know that Samus can only sidestep (something that I can do in my sleep) when she is locked on or when she is holding her aim. Master Chief can kill a Hunter as seen several times in Halo. Should Samus try this, her locking system would go right to the center of the Hunter. Hardly a challenge for the Hunter. So is Chief>Hunter and Hunter>Samus doesnt that mean that Chief>Samus? Plus for those of you who said that that her armor is too tough for MC to break, what happens in Metroid Prime after you defeat the Parasite Queen? Her armor gets broken by crashing into a wall. I think MC could do more thatn that.

Wow, just because the developers put controls funky for Samus means she loses automatically? That's like saying all humans can't sidestep after you played Resident Evil.

Samus would totally dominate master chief. But i wonder, even though his human weapons blow, what about the covenants energy weapons? I think a ball of hot plasma would hurt just as much as some lava. And what about the energy sword? He could just chop off a limb or two. Also, samus can't cloak like mc can. And he has all those badass vehicles. PFT run he ass over!

Not to mention 3 other spartans to help him. (yes, there are 3 others alive, if you haven't read the third novel, he meets up with them. Hell, there was one on halo the whole time, except she was still frozen in one of those tubes )

Metroid Prime Samus gets hurt by Zoomer Spikes, War Wasps, and other oversized BUGS. Master Chief deals with advanced alien enemies shooting Plasma. So he should be used to Samus plasma beam. And dont even mention the ice beam, that would only make him cold. In reality a block of ice hitting you would not turn your whole body into a Chiefsicle.

Plus, MC moves much faster. Read the books, half a kilometer in 32 seconds flat. He also has uber shielding, and could probably withstand lava because of the coolers in his suit. If all else fails, he has a fusion back on his back to blow up.

This is a fight between the MAster Chief and Samus, not the Human Race as Seen in Halo vs Samus. And the coolest aren't always the strongest.

As for getting broken by crashing into a wall.. I've never beaten the game, so I can't really say anything about that, except that it's
A) Gameplay INCONSISTENCY
B) Her armor was very severely weakened
C) You mean that a large wall crumbled and smashed her
D) And the MC can be killed by having a Jeep bump into him about as hard as me walking into him... I think running into a wall with a quarter-ton armor suit would hurt a LOT more...

A) A ball of hot plasma... her cannon, in it's weakest state, fires what I guess are 'balls of hot plasma'. Let alone a charged plasma cannon.
B) I ALREADY SAID THIS, BUT... LAVA doesn't hurt her... and in the case of the video games, it's lava so melted it's nearly as thin as water... what makes you think a small bolt of plasma will do much?
C) Okay, he grabs the Plasma Sword, and Samus owns him with her Cannon or Missiles before he gets in range. Also, in Halo2, the Plasma Sword will not be a 1-hit kill against the MAster Chief, let alone Samus.
D) He can't cloak. It's just that Active Camouflage happens to be compatible with his suit. But remember: Samus has X-Ray and Thermal Scopes, both of which can detect cloaked enemy, and also, who says there's gonna be some AC in the arena?
E) This isn't a Video Game battle, it's a character battle. The vehicles aren't integrated into his armor: he can just use them.

Not to mention 3 other spartans to help him. (yes, there are 3 others alive, if you haven't read the third novel, he meets up with them. Hell, there was one on halo the whole time, except she was still frozen in one of those tubes)
As far as I'm concerned, poorly written books by idiots don't mean .
And, according to the GAME ITSELF, rather than said ty novel, "you are the last of your kind".
I believe the instruction manual states that you're the last Spartan II, but I don'thave it with me so I can't be sure.

Okay, you got me on that, large insect-like-beasts are able to hurt her, but they also have a lot more weight and size behind them, so they'll hit you a hell of a lot harder than a normal Earth-insect.
And also, the Master Chief, who can't even kill a GRUNT by slamming a ROCKET LAUNCHER with all his strength down on its head, yet punching another MC will be enough to nearly kill him... while as MA5B rounds do crap damage. They're pretty weak, as far as I can tell.
Also, Samus's Plasma Beam is far more powerful than either the Plasma Pistol or Plasma Rifle. His armor is only somewhat Plasma resistant, according to stupid book. And don't call the Covenant advanced when you're comparing them to Samus. The technology in her suit allows her to store hundreds of missiles the size of her suit's arm in it. It allows her to roll up herself and her suit into a ball that's maybe 1.5 times the size of my head. Without any physical damage to body or suit.
LASTLY, I never read ANYWHERE that the ice beam shoots out 'blocks of ice'. As it is capable of insantly freezing small creatures, while allowing them to stay in mid-air at their current location, so this obviously isn't a block of ice. My guess is that the 'ice' is minimal, and for the most part it's a time stasis device. And don't complain it's unrealistic or anything; the space-altering and gravity-altering technologies make stasis technology look like bows and arrows.

That... just doesn't make sense. I don't see how you could make a cooling device that allows you to withstand WATERTHIN ROCK.
Read the books? The books are written by ing stupid authors, and should never have been labeled 'official'. Uber shielding? COME ON. It's weak as hell. Fall from, maybe, 15 feet up and it's obliterated. With Samus, she can fall from over a HUNDRED, YARDS in the air and suffer NO damage.

Well, Samus can run at such dashing speeds as to obliterate rock walls without any slowdown, and sustain the rate for as long as she wants. And compare their armor; hers is a lot bigger.

master chief is tougher...and...he can "block out" pain, so that if his arm got blowed off, he would need to care. Samus can't do that.

Fourth of all, he may be able to ignore pain, according to a stupid novel, but that won't stop him from bleeding to death, only from caring that he is.
