Staredit Network -> Games -> Glitch in Terran Campaign?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Red-X on 2004-10-28 at 00:23:55
While I was playing the Terrain Campaign (yes I was bored) on the final Expansion Terran mission (where 3 cerebrates control a zerg force each that power up their units), I stumbled upon a Zergling owned by player 12. I know that when the computer player loses their Cerebrate in this scenario, that the computer player loses and the remaing units are neutral. This Zergling though was light blue, not the color of the units around it. My units would attack the defeated computer players if they were within range but left this unit alone. So is it a glitch? a random happening? Im just curious.

Oh well, there are a lot of glitches in the brood war campaigns. Like in the second level (i think this isnt supposed to happen, i dont play BW that much) of the zerg campaign, if you use your second drone to build an extractor, the mission will end in a failure :/

It's a glitch, the campaigns are full of them. In a mission where the Cerebret dies and comes back, I got it to give me unplaceable. I kept ordering a Zealot on the bottom middle of the Cerebret to move to the top as it was about to die. When it died, the Zealot walked to the middle of where the Cerebret was. I wis I saved a pic.

It's not a glithc. You aren't suposed to use your last drone to make a building/let it get killed. I did that before and I lost. I remeber reading somwhere telling you never to use your last drone to make a building...not sure where it was but in the original starcraft zerg campaigns????
