Well... There's my problem guys... I am makin a Special Forces v.Cloaked... I can cloak a lot of units without crashing. Except for the damn hydra... It keep crashin' my sc 1 times on 2, I can't understand... So there's my question. I just want to know if any of you know a trick to fix that! A trigger or sumthing... I think Paella (irunthemile@useast) have answer to my question, but I don't talk to him too much, he's a lot better than me at cloaking units. Anyway if you can help me you'll be in credits of course!

A Special Forces without hydras... BORING! Well if I can't find a way to cloak 'em... I'll probably let 'em not cloaked.
Hydras seem to crash radomly. I dont know why.
How are you cloaking the rest of the units? Are you using seemingly random disable/enable doodad state triggers?
He's using the 3 location cloak trick.
I've noticed the hydra, lurker egg, and sometimes the lurker all crash PCs, while Macs are unaffected. I'm not sure why it happens though. This was a problem I faced in a Lurker D map I was making. I decided to just let them be normal and just cloak the rest of the units.
Nope MaThRiX, can't cloak hydras. I thought that you were joking about doing that, but you just can't. And you're right Marine Special Forces without Hydras is pointless... I don't think the map is going anywhere with out the Hydras. Sorry.
Well technically Mac players can play it without crashing.

You can cloak a hydra with the arbiter trick, but burrowing it uncloaks it.
At least I think new patch still has that trick.
I tested the arbiter trick Kruser and it still works. Mathrix I tried for a long time when I was making Cloak Wars, and I just couldn't cloak hydras or high templars.
With the larva, you have to move it twice after you do the disable trick. Maybe the hydra is the same way? If all else fails, emulate the arbiter glitch, or if you're really desperate, use player 161.
I find if you do the disable enable thing and enable it twice and put it not near the corners nad when it's given to the player not let them see it for a few secomnds, the crash rate reduces drastically.
I can't make it lower crash rate of an ht.

Nope, I'm not sure lol... Maybe I'll make like 10 cloaked drones and let the computer build

If I do that, plus the Deathknight's cloaking system. The map will have a looooooonngg loading... I don't know. I'm so lost lol, I started the terrain yesterday and I think I made a very nice job so far

That looks good MaThRiX, I can help you with the map mechanics, I've got a good system that cloaks units very quickly. Also, did you see the previous posts about cloaking a Hydra? I think that we came up with some valuable results for you. Does the computer player need to know how to burrow?
If the units belong to the computer, you might have to give them to the player and back. In my experience, it will not cloak if they aren';t given to the player, wait 1000 milisconds, and given back to the computer. Of course, i use a laptop and it crashes with player 161 and almost every extra color.
