Okay stright to the point!
I wanted to stay off my main movie for a week or so. So I can work on a short movie on the election thing and the war on terrorism. Its pretty short really It will also have preview scenes in it as well for my main movie, The Revolution. No those will not be the in the Special Edition version just so if you were wondering.
So far its extreamly funny and about like 5 minutes, but it will be longer! I will try to add alot of current based news scenes and then maybe I'll try to make a text movie. Hopefully it dosen't max out the thing, if it dose I'm going to remove it.
Hopefully it should be out in like what 3 days?
(2 days for the text movie) (last day, testing and stuff)

If you can keep it funny, that's great, but If you are just copying the news then I would say cancel the project. Make it around like 10 minutes, also what does ''text movie'' mean? Is there just text, no action or something?

Suggested name; Starcraft 9/11

Not because of 9/11 incident, but because a well-known film is named similar, and your is on the same lines so it works.

No and yes, its a text thing but its moving, so its a text movie!

I'm maybe going to add the 9/11 thing,[edited: Its still in thinking area!] Yes its funny, the first part myself I WAS LAUGHING MY A$* OFF!!!!
Its just a movie based on current news and some fake. I'm not going to try to keep it at a time limit but just as long as it takes to finish the movie.

I guess that I still don't understand what you mean by text movie, but whatever I will just have to wait and see.

Okay its like:
using the display text action trigger showing one thing and then like 500 milisec it changes and then again but different text,like moved or somthing like that.

Interesting thing someone else mentioned and i checked, add huge amounts of empty "spaces" onto your display text, such as to get it up to 10 lines long if it isn't will mean it will stay longer.

whatever you meant, I didn't really understand, I hope thats usefull.

Basically if your saying something you NEED players to view and want it to stay on the screen for longer; because waits do help in that field then do what you do is work out how many lines are needed to get what you've said up to 11 text lines long, and then add them and players lots of "SPACES" "EMPTY CHARACTERS" into the new lines you needed to get it up to 11 and it will stay longer;

THE MORE CHARACTERS YOU HAVE THE LONGER THE DISPLAY IS THERE FOR!

No one will ever want to read that much text, it has to be short, little quotations.

No; basically just have characters which are blank, you know like this
"Hi; "
"See ^ Spaces"


Those just increase the time the rest of your text to be viewed.

I never new that the more characters you have the longer it displays it...lol

Okay sorry but I might push it back for a day since my mom yelled at me for some stuff and ya... well she wasted my time to work on it and stuff so sorry!

Its to do with how Starcraft works itself, so if you had a minor length and another bit afterwards, it would still go first, and so it would work like this

A counter for the first display would go, and once it was completed, teh counter for the next one would start, so if you add a lot of blank text beforehand you can make things viewed even longer.
