Okay, if anyone can remember back to when ever I first mentioned this idea, it was way too long ago. Well, I got tired of SC (like, I just faded out onto something else for a while), but now I'm back onto it, and I want to finish this map idea. Why? Because everywhere I turned to someone who read it, they said that it could be iNsAnLy FuN!

So anyway, I can't remember everything, but HERE I GO on trying to remember!

Number of Players/Games:
Alright, well, you can have a max of 3 players a team, and two teams. Each team plays against each other trying to break the other teams FUBAR Defence. However, then I got this idea that maybe one person might want to play the great FUBAR D, so I changed it to that teams can either play against each other, or play against a ccp (computer controlled player). Now, the cool thing about this is that you can have 1 on 1 tournaments to see which person can survive the ccp's attacks the longest! Also, the ccp's difficulty is determined by 2 things, the level of difficulty you put it on, and how many players are on your team! (Obviously it would be easier on hard with 3 players, so to counter that the ccp gets harder!)

Attacking the other team:
Well, this is easy! You don't pick any "special attacking units," because there is only 3 different attacking units. Now, this is totally up to the player on attacking, because they have to start all attacks. Depending on the level of difficulty decides the unit used to attack. All the player has to do is move this civilian to a point, in which he will become wrapped into a never ending struggle to get that point, and in return, you keep releasing attacks without even telling him to move to one place more than once. How the game gets harder is you can buy more units to attack at once, or upgrade the speed at which units are created (IE, you move your guy onto a smaller grid of never ending walking, hard to explain!)

Defending the other team's attacks:
Okay, here is where it gets, well, let's just say the name says it all. Your defence will have no actual attacks, but rather triggers that make attacks. At the beginning of the game, you start out with an area to build supply depots. After building the small buildings, they explode and a bunker appears depending on a grid that tells you where your bunkers will be placed. Then, the totally empty bunker sits there and you wait and watch the enemies forces come into your base. Once the enemy gets too far, the bunker explodes and all the enemies in a line die with it. DON'T THINK YOU WILL BE USING THIS THE ENTIRE GAME! (Explained Below)

GETTING COOLER, MORE FUBARed WEAPONS!
With every enemy death, you get minerals which can be used to buy more weapons (which if you can remember them, then you are ahead, because I don't plan to tell ANY of them here, make the game a nice little surprise...). Trust me, none of them make sense, and most of them explode (because explosions are cool!)

Upgrading!
You didn't think I would forget upgrading, right? Everything in the game can be upgraded, except you lives. This will be helpful, as you will need a stronger defence and a more powerful attack! This will create some interesting stratagies, as one team may get their attack all the way up, and the other team may get their defence all the way up! Don't worry, the attackers will lose because they will feed the enemies more, which means more money (but they could win if they get their attack up fast enough!)

Lives
Probably the most important compound int the game. Well, in FUBAR D, you have three lives to begin with. Everytime an ene...can't say that.... All I can say is too many lives and you die, too little lives and you die!

Now, I would love to hear to feed back, or maybe some weapons. Also, I do accept partners, so if your interested in making this plain odd map, then tell me, because I like hearing other peoples ideas.... Heck, if you submit an idea I like, and it gets put into this large production, then I will credit you...

It looks like I may need a small tutorial for newbs to the map, but it really will be simple after you start playing! Trust me, everyone will enjoy this! The tutorial will cover things such as how to attack the other team and building in the game, but everything else I would like to remain insane! I really don't want to give everything away.... especially to people who don't write on the SEN forum!

Trust me, I'll make this game easy, and even attacking should be a snap! I mean, all you have to do is tell a guy to move to one location and he will be stuck in a never ending cycle. After that, upgrading will just happen with a click of a button!

Lol, I don't remember the map, but I remember playing with F.U.B.A.R.

Won't the bunker generate placement errors?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by flaming_X on 2004-11-07 at 14:52:11
no. You see, all characters will know if a bunker is down because I am using a special trigger that detects if one is there, keeping you from placing where they should not be placed. Players will know. I thought it all out, so don't worry about simple errors like that. Plus. the Beta version will show off some interesting ideas

Thanks for your concern and I'm sorry you did not hear about this idea. Then again, I posted it up about 2-3 months ago, maybe more...

Sounds very innovative and original. Nice idea, had I been introduced to this a year ago, I might of considered helping you.

Having practically everything explode would get boring after awhile.

When you launch attacks or whatever, can you control the units? or does the computer control them?

I don't know if you could control them like that, but you get to pick how to place them. It is kinda like mining the defence ground, and when an enemy steps at a certain point, and then it launches some crazy defencive thing. Not all the things are explosive, and just to make sure you know that not all are explosive, I'll give you an example.

The medics! That's right, there is a defence where a bunch of insane medics go running down the field and everything they touch...dies! Kinda funny, the power to heal kicks evils ass!

If I figure out a way to make control possible, then yea, it will make it in, but for now, not really...
