I'm a fourteen crappy SC player. S.ometimes (though very rarely), you would find 10 years olds online. They seemed to have grown now though (though mental development in some are...questionable. Just go on a few B.Net n00bs game to find out what I mean)

Heh, here's an example of my crappiness (a bit off topic now, but I really wanted to say this). I entered a game with a bunch of Oi regulars, and it was an FFA match. I was Protoss, and me, being really bored and wanted to do something fun, decided to wall my self in full of cannons and wait out the game.
Anyways, I got attacked by tanks and slowly, my cannons were being killed. So the antidote? Mass probes. My main was almost mined out, and early on, one of the player got dropped. So I headed, all my probes (except for a few to mine gas, I did tech up to Forge and Cybernetics Core and upgraded shields and armour for my probes and cannons), to the dropped player's base. I killed the CC there with my probe, warped in a Nexus, and while that was happening, made another cannon field.
Now, in FFA, you really can't see anything, and can goto observer status, so, I went all around the map (it was Killing Fields, a really huge 256×256 map) building pylons in order to see everybody's force movement. At first, it was to make sure that if my base died, I would still live, but eventually, I became, let's say, the most informed player of the whole map. I knew where everybody was, and which army was headed where. The other guys stopped killing my pylons because there was just too many of them and it was kinda pointless. So I could basically say I had the whole map in my control.
Eventually, I had to go (it was very late at night) and ended the game.

14 here. Hey I liked Sc when I was 9. Well I didn't understand the game well at that age. I sucked so bad that even when I cheated in a mission I STILL LOST! (Well excluding the cheat power overwhelming)
Then at like 10-11, I understood that carriers pwned. All I picked was protoss and went for cannons and carriers. I loved protoss because I thought terran was weak and zerg took too much unit control.
At like 12-14, I started getting good at the game. And yes those were the times wc3 came out. Some people hated it, but I was the group that liked the game. It was like a cartoonish starcraft! I kinda quit starcraft after that.
Right now, I'll just play the starcraft rpg game, not so sure about the real game though.

basically described me, except I gained interest in 'cheating' and 'hacking', then I decided to make my guide and drop hacking because hacking was too lame, besided my glitches pwn hackers, check out the most powerful unit in the game:
Zerg Drone
•Build any zerg building
•become perminitely cloaked
•float almost anywhere on maps
•build cloaked buildings
•crash the game
•make rock doodads
•walk through units
•mess up unit walls
•gather resources
I think there's more but... you get the point

when i first joined SSC i was 11 or 12 i think. Thats where i met Yoshi and Pal. Then i came here with TD, then played warcraf for half a year, now im back

I started playing Starcraft the day it came out, not sure when that is now, seems so long ago. Played under the name CoKKo for about a year, and only played melee (Didn't know that you can change what you see on the screen, so only saw Melee...) They got my friends into it, played it for a while more, but crushed them all. Then found CC and played every single campaign they had, downloading from an 56 Modem!!! Then started playing online again, joined a Melee Clan and played loads for about another year, then they went to BW...I didn't have it...(Timing a little off) Then i got BW< went onto it, and joined a German clan, and played loads of 1v1...Then played in WGTour, got kicked...6-21 was my score...Then played lots of UMS, got into map making, got better and better, and then well...I'm 17, feel old, but my friends all play CS and Generals, i like BW>>>SO MEH!

I started playing SC 3-4 years ago. I played single-player ONLY for about a year, since my connection was soooooooooo buggy and sucky at that time, and Battle.Net wouldn't work at all. Played tons of games VS computers on BGH, I admit I had alot of fun.
Then I saw Battle.net worked better for me, I didn't play much since the connection limit was 100 hours and we couldn't waste too much. Then swiched to infinite time, there I really started to pwn online
Got BW, and that's pretty much it...

Hehe, well first I borrowed sc and installed it, then I borrowed the bw cd and I had a virtual broodwar cd installed with a fake cd key. Then the comp was getting too old so we got a new one. This time we had a copy of bw and sc with fake keys again. But then that comp got a virus and I eventually bought a battle chest.

Battle Chest is soooo cheap... I wonder how Blizzard can make money by solding 2 games and 3 books for only 15/25$... I guess SC is considered an "old" game... no?

Yeah its definitely an "old" game. But still one of the best out there! I think really the only thing it could use would be a graphical update. Most of the modern computers we're running can easily handle more graphics strain.
