Shmeeps refers to himself in the third person.

Ill stick with Guild wars thank you very much.
Someone I know who plays the beta says the game is terrible. He's black though.
I am playing the beta for this game. World of Warcraft is a MMORPG. Now, MMORPG's are not for everyone those who are new to them will undoubtably NOT like the game. But those who do play and like MMORPG's will find this game fun and interesting. It seems like this game was really made for you to form guilds, or clans, and do quests. Not being in a guild and not having any friends in world of warcraft is like playing the computer in a melee game in starcraft.....boring.
If you can afford the monthly costs, $14.99 for 6 months (I think), and enjoy playing with yourslef then go for it. It's higly recommended that you find a guild a.s.a.p so you don't get stuck and give up. You can choose between different class's and races. I have played a rouge, warlock and a bit of a warrior and paladin. If you played diablo2 before you will see a few similarities with the monsters. Some are unique and other are super unique. Blizzard claims to say that finding 'elite' items is just as good as being a blacksmith and making your own 'elite' items.
Pros:
Great for group playing! Awesome involvment for doing raids. Being from the horde faction and taking over an alliance town is really cool. The game is pretty open ended as there seems to be no main plot. Most of the effort that went into this game is shown through guilds and raid group quests. Money, gold silver and copper make a good economy. If you messed up with skills point distrobution you can start over.
I find this game really fun. It's cool and actually feels like you are a part of the game. I love the way this game looks, feels and I just simply can not stop playing it.
Cons:
No single player, duh! Traveling the WoW by yourself is boring, dull and mostly impossible. It's impertive to group together with other players to get anywhere. Weapons are few and far between, so much that it seems when you find a weapon that does +1 damage you act like you just found the holy grail. Talents are crap!!! You will be spending time and money on buying spells. The spells are ok and pretty powerfull but the talents are completly lame. All they do is boost the damage or effectivness of your spells. The graphics look like they are made with the warcraft map editor which is a huge letdown. I don't know who the lead programmer is for warcrafts graphics but they need to get rid of that guy. Everything respawns every so often. It can make quests extremely easy. An example quest, find crates of supply's throught this town. All you do is find one and just wait for it to respawn. This was the first of many annoying things that caught my attention but you will get used to it. Level cap of 60.
The potential to this game is amazing. When I go retail I would like to make a large guild and take controll of an alliance town.....somthing like ironforge would be nice.
This half way review of the game is completly based on the beta. For more, better and up to date information just go to blizz website and read up.
