For those who don't know, this map is basically Team Micro Arena except you build the units yourself. Upgrades and Heroes included.

Changes in Beta 017
» Nukes are exempt from suicide trigger (you can nuke top base)
» Reavers lost damage upgrade
» Optical Flare cost reduced to 40 energy
» Restoration cost reduced to 30 energy
» Battlecruiser cost reduced to 900
» Carrier cost reduced to 850
» Ultralisk cost reduced to 550
» Scout cost reduced to 400
» Siege Tank cost reduced to 300
» Corsair cost reduced to 350
» Valkyrie cost reduced to 350

Changes in Beta 016
» Scout suicide penalty removed
» Carrier and Battlecruiser costs down by 100 each
» Minor terrain changes (again)
» Hero Tassadar starts with full mana

Changes in Beta 015
» Scout cost from 500 to 450
» Interceptors are exempt from suicide trigger
» Suicide will now incur a greater spawn time penalty, 13 seconds instead of 7
» Viewing mission objectives in game will no longer crash
» Upgrade messages for minerals have been synced with actual amounts
» Tassadar hero damage increased by 7
» Hero Tank damage increased by 6, armor increased by 1
» Stasis cost increased to 125
» Lockdown cost increased to 45
» Made minor terrain changes. GG.
» Distance from edges to suicide zone increased by 2 squares
» Pylon build time decreased
» Photon Cannons cost 150 instead of 200.

There lots of changes, especially in Beta 013 in terms of balancing. Too bad I don't remember them. wink.gif

» Costs lowered for various expensive units.
» Sunken Colony deploy replaced with Bunker unload. Have fun kotkeying. tongue.gif
» Ubartanis and Raynor heroes combined.
» Arbiter Hero added.

Known issues: Text displays talk about Sunkens, not bunkers. Kill 1 Enemy Hero doesn't work yet.

Changes in Beta 009
» All buildings for all Players present. REALLY.
» Overminds recenterized.
» Should be no unplacable units in a full game.
» Added damage to the Tank Heroes. They can dish out some pain before you have to use them.
» Increased shields on UbArtanis to 333 to 444.
» Increased Tassadar's HP to 99 and Shields to 400.
» Arbiter now incurs a suicide penalty. I will add suicide penalties for all combat units.
» Still rebalancing the rest of the Heros. Don't worry, next version. wink.gif

-Vessel, 800 to 750.
-Dropship, 500 to 450.
-Battlecruiser, 1700 to 1600.

i don't think that there should be forced allies, what if the person that joined, was an as censored.gif and you really hated him/her, you would want to kill him/her

The only benefit I see to not having forced ally is splash against cloaked units. But you have Comsat anyway.

However, are the comsats really right to be put in?

Aren't dark templars and cloaking practically useless now?

About the Constant Allying, how about constantly allying everyone on your team except YOURSELF, so you can still attack your own units for splash?

Then you'd better be willing sacrifice some units. I guess that's the best option though. Unless you make sure you can have good detectors around.

Scanner, maybe have it set to 0% for a set amount of time, before there is a brief moment, maybe ten seconds each minute you can use it.

The suicide kill thing is stupid too. If the player only has one scourge left, or one medic, or some useless unit, then have him die automatically. The free suicide thing is just easily abused. It's like TKing.

I think the reason the comsat is fair is because ... well... If your using DT you'll still get some lucky shots in before you die so its all ok.

I think the comsat should cost 150 energy so you can't use it as much.
Also, you should have it so that you can continue spawning units after sunkification...

Lastly... I think the player ally is good.
I've had some problems with BSers before...

Trust me, once you get enough minerals to get a team of DT's, they're more effective then zerglings, and rape about any ground unit.

forced-allying is a good idea cuz of all the little censored.gif that play Überena.
Comsat stations should be set to 100 energy so you can only use them twice per full charge. Cloaking was always meant to be sneaky, and it should stay that way.

OK MOOSE YOU GOT IT! Everything wrong with your censored.gif ty map. Btw, since you claimed that you couldn't open this in a real editor, I assume it's because of the whole "Time" thing from StarForge. Ya know, in StarForge 1 = 15 in X-tra. Yea, well just use the export feature to export unit stats, then re-import it later. Wow, real hard. Lamer. Anywhere, here ya go!

x) Sunken Colony thing is censored.gif ING DUMB, you can't hotkey it, use a bunker with unload or something.

x) Heros are so censored.gif ty, use these:
- Hyperion
- Magellan
- Unclean One (no Consume)
- Alexei Stukov
- Danimoth
- Zeratul
x) I would take out Comsat all together, but set it to 125 energy if you have to keep it.
x) Take out suicide, it's newbie. If the player has nothing but one scourge or one medic or something, add in triggers to auto-kill his units.
x) Take out the rough edged terrain, the whole StarForge look is terrible. The arena looks terrible too. The blackness is crap. Yea.
x) Disable the Consume ability.
x) Make Stasis cost double or something.
x) Don't bring down unit spell costs, keep their base energy tied at 75 until they enter the arena.
x) More hatcheries. Well, you won't really need more hatcheries if you use my system.
x) Start the player off with a SENSIBLE amount of resources, so they aren't stuck with a useless 50 minerals at the end. Plus, you don't even have any units that cost 50 minerals.

I can't open in X-tra because of Stacked units! 567 unplacable!

How do I make ARCHON cost THE SAME as a High Templar?

And lastly, why no upgrades? Upgrades are GOOD for more expensive units.
