If you want to vision another player in a different force at start of game you just use turn on shared vision for player _ right?
Something Simple like this
Trigger
Players:
¤ Whatever Player(s)
Conditions:
¤ Always
Actions:
¤ Execute AI Script: Turn ON Shared Vision for Player X
You could also use the shared vision AI script for Player12, right?
P.S How did you get that trigger box to appear?
Hit Trigger in the Main Reply version (not Fast) and follow through. And I dont know about the Player 12 Stuff, I never did that, Ive only heard of it recently.
There isn't a shared vision script for P12. They are hidden scripts made by Blizzard so only 1-8 work.
To my knowlegde, Blizzard did not make the vision script for players 9+. It would have no use in the campaigns. They only made the Nuke AI and the Fill Silo with Nuke AI for the campaign. I have nearly every advanced editor and none of them has this action. The only editor that I don't have is the one Blizzard used to make the campaigns. That editor is probably kept inside Blizzard and stays inside Blizzard.
Trigger
Description:
Player 1 wants Player 2 Vision
|
Players:
¤ Player 1
Conditions:
¤ Whatever
Actions:
¤ Run AI Script 'Turn on shared vision for player 2'
Well of course you dont have Blizzard's Editor...unless you hack it XD Of course, I know you wouldnt...even though I dont know you XD. Even if someone found a way to do that, I dont think they would tell anyone...greedy bastards.
Blizzard used StarEdit with the Internal Plugins, thats it.
Whoever the first player is will get vision of the player they select.
I highly dought that. Everyone thinks that they used Unreal Ed to make the UT maps, but my brother works for Epic and he told me thats false.
They also modded their campaigns. Because in brood war you can see that all protoss buildings have a fenix portrait.
Since my dads friend works for blizzard i could probally ask him to send it to me...but i highly doubt he will since hes stupid and gay =/....but ill try...if i do get it ill post it up on here...
He won't have the rights to send it, since they've never had the rights to. Just accept it won't be sent.
I dont even think he works in that department....hes just a programmer...
Even if it is sent what makes you think it will be any better than what we already have. ;P
If he is a programmer then he will be kept out of the light and given regular coffee updates to keep him going.

It's better because you can have more triggers and make maps bigger...and you can also make locations in circles...Etc,
Circle Locations are possible with clever programming at the moment, but requiring you to be very careful on how you use them in a map.
And i doubt Blizzard have such a program, they simply used tailer-made mod like tools mixed with .mpq technology to make all theres.
Either way, if that is really true, like Coko said, we would probably never see it, we are noones to Blizzard...they care less about us except for the fact that we give them money...they are just like Microsoft >_<
They just used the normal Staredit with a few plugins. It's really not that difficult to replicate Blizzards SC campaings expect for that changing portrait in the buildings. And making cinematics link to the maps and those pictures of the planet Chau Sara and such.
I highly doubt they will release it, heck I even doubt if they still have it, they have no use for it now and they rarely touch SC right now.
Well, probably not nowadays, but think about it back in the day, that was like OMG HOW DID THEY DO THAT?
