What do the flag beacons do? They have a button called Place COP which changes their position.

There for Capture the Flag Mode.

No flag beacons donot do create a flag when you step on them....there just nothing really...there just for looks in capture the flag games...

Flags are created after they've been there for a period of time, or else when someone moves onto them or clicks them.

Okay....I just thought they were there to show that the flag was there...I think ima go test and see...but not right now im to lazy.

Sorry, i wrote that in bad grammar. I meant they'll appear after time, no matter the amount of Clicks or Movements over them you make, after a set time, which i've not worked out they just appear.

yeah havent you ever played Capture the flag? You start off with the beacon in your base and you have to option of moving it where you want.

The placed COP beacon is just like anyother flag beacon but it can't be moved.

If you give it to another player, can it be moved? Can it be moved again if given back? And will it drop flags on it if it is given to a computer player after being moved by a person.

Heh, I never played much with Flag Beasons.

The power of moving Flag Beacons was shown in Beacon defense, where you used the beacon to place bunkers.

Yes it can be given to another player.
Yes they can be moved
Yes i can be moved if given back.
Evrey minute it creates a flag.

If you disable a Flag Beacon it stops producing the Flags.

Ok,I have a Golem map
(where units spawn 1/sec, and you need to kill other player's bunker)

I used COP as an option to mass atack point (you Place COP, and all your units rush that point, than beacon is returned back.)
The problem is: when flag is created, Place COP button is gone.
Question: Does the 1 minute delay start when the game is started, or when the beacon is created.
Is there any way to return the 'place COP' button?

Just make a trigger that if the player brings a flag remove both the beacon and the flag and create a new one.... happy.gif
