I've been reading a lot about it, however I can't seem to figure out how to make the AI work in a UMS map. I read that it's something about a trigger but I can't locate the "Use AI trigger" anywhere. where is it og how do i activate it?

Okay this is something an Average map maker that MAKES UMS maps shouldnt need help on. Simple Simple...

Run AI Script Under Conditions.

Then when u hit it it says something like

Run AI Script: Script for Player X at Location Y.

The Scripts you want are somewhere at the bottom like Run AI Zerg Insane or whatever. Insane is difficulty, and u get the point of the rest. Thats simple and easy, and anyone shoiuld be able to do that.

well obviously you were not looking in the right place, all you had to do was scroll down the actions and look for something with AI Script, please change your map making level closedeyes.gif closedeyes.gif dry.gif shocking.gif

Also, a computer must have at least 5000 gas and minerals to start out with. Further more, the ai script must take be activated near a area that has some minerals and gas. (By near, I mean as close as you can get the minerals to the command center/nexus without the unit being removed when you load the map with the regular starcraft editor.)

Wrong, you don't need to give them any Cash to start out with, it just helps them continue, because some of the Blizzard Scripts lake the give_money ai script within them.

Anywhere is a bad idea, create a location over the Nexus/Command/Hatch/Hive/Lair with most activity around it and create the Blizzard Ai Script set to that race, at either Easy/Meduim/Difficult/Insane, Custom will make them play like in Melee and the others are set for certain campaign maps.

And wont Area Town just make them mine and not really do anything?

Basically its like it being an Expansion for the Computer, they don't build major buildings there, but defences.

Oh Okay, thats what I thought its like a Secondary Base, like most people make in Melee/FFA matches. They have thier main base then they make other bases for resources and they add Defense. =)
