When you name locations does that add to the string limit? If you leave a location name to it's default Location #, does that add to string limit or do nothing? Also, when you name switches does that add to the string limit?
Thanks
No, yes. Default names do not count as strings. However anything you rename will add to it.

basically any text that you create that wasnt originally in starcraft. I think the moment you rename a string it wont matter if you rename it back to the default value.
Proedit helps out alot by removing location, comment and switch strings.
Locations use a string if you rename them or not.
Switches only use one if you rename it.
Gradius/Dawg(I'm still confused because of the change I don't recognize you as I did before), I think that if you do hit the default button it eliminates that string.
It does make it default not manually therefore it must make it to the original state which is no string.
W00T! 1000th post!!!
But proedit doesn't delete any strings that might be important? Like sounds or Action Text or Unit Names right?

No proedit does not delete any strings that are important. It may occasionaly do so.
You can use a very clever trick to wipe your locations however. Its difficult to achieve it though, you've got to have no comment triggers, and locations and have it so after the locations were placed the comments were made, then locate the location string and delete it in SCMDraft and then hope that its been replaced with the No Comment, it will crash in X-Tra Editor but should work in the other editors. Then you just delete the comment.
