Hey guys,
0MP broodling doesn't seem to work for me. As suggested in forums, i tried
Condition
kill 1 broodling
Action
Create 1 broodling at "collect here" for current player
The other advice... well I couldn't do it because it tells me to use
"Create unit with properties" and set energy to 0 for broodling.
My starxtra editor 2.5 doesn't allow me to change settings for energy.
I am also using starforge 2.2 and it doesn't allow me to set energy either.
Thanks for looking,

Look at the "Tutorials, Tips & Tricks" section and you'll be sure you find something about it.
It says to NOT give it properties. If you don't give it properties it will work fine.
so in trigger form if you want to remove broodlings you created because thats what i figured in your first post itd be
| Trigger |
| Description: |
| Broodling |
|
| Conditions: |
| ¤ Player X brings at least 1 broodling to location anywhere |
| Actions: |
¤ remove 1 broodling at location anywhere
|
¤ create 1 broodling at location anywhere
|
¤ preserve trigger
|
| ¤ comment |
it would be better if you centered a location because i dont think using anywhere would spawn the new broodlings where the old ones were
I did NOT APPLY PROPERTIES, it does not work
I searched tutorial it tells me NOT TO APPLY PROPERTIES
i searched forums 1/2 people say APPLY PROPERTIES and other says no
I tried both it doesn't work, would this happen because of map editor i use?
1) i tried "create unit" no properties
2) i could not set energy points for "create unit with properties", i can only change HP%.
I am using staforge 2.2 as well as starextra editor 2.5

...
If you saw you can't change MP, then obviously you DID open the properties menu, and several programs consider that the same as changing things...
-_-
I tried both
First map i used "create unit" no properties applied
Then i saved map as different name and tried "create unit with properties"
both doesnt' work
i already tried that, does not work
could it possibly depend on what map editor i use?
Worked for me...
Does your Broodling ever goto/use a healing place to modify any aspect of it?
Wow hey thanks LegacyWeapon, i found out what problem is......
I did not set any property changes for broodling; however, i did set healing to 100% for all units inside base...... i don't think I can use broodling anymore..... since all units inside base must either be invincible or... heal itself automatically.
If not, the player can self destruct their units, or kill neighbor's units with tank/air

its spelt heimdal, i believe he is a norse god of some kind...
Legit, you could use a broodling if you have a trigger always set Broodling energy to 100% with preserve trigger.
Your not Heimdal, your pathetic. I wasn't fooled by your stupidly for a second. I won’t put up with crap, you would be well off to come clean and request a name change if you intend on staying here very long while I’m here.

I already tried that, doesn't work either lol
Players:
All
conditon:
Always
action:
set energy of broodling to 100%
preserve trigger
how bout for the healing thing you do the actions for every unit and exclude the broodling. the broodling wouldnt be able to heal but it wouldnt die practically instantly.
Or....if you are really desperate, you could make a healing trigger for
each unit in the game that can be healed EXCEPT for the broodling. That actually won't be that much if you use StarForge...just have to copy and paste triggers
