it Seems like we all mostly use the same two Starforge 2.2 and X-tra 2.5 or 2.6,

Star forge for the sprits and map. and xtra for unit placement +triggers.

this is good to know as i also use both these =]

SCXE who uses that?

I only use SF for triggers/locations
SCMDraft for unit placement and terrain

SF triggers Pwn SCXE Triggers

I like SCXE just because of all the menu's, if i really sat down and learned SF's triggers, i would like them more.

SF for terrain, sprites, map revealers, etc

SCXE for triggers, ISOM, and unit placements.

It all depends. If you understand how to use sf triggers you would like sf. When I didin't know i had SCXE and sf open when doing maps. SCXE for the triggers then I would open it in sf for the terrain. But then I understood how to use sf triggers so then I wonly use sf.

" if i really sat down and learned SF's triggers,"
And learned SF's triggers?
They're simple!
At first look, I thought 'Hell No, I'm not using this, maybe later when I have a few minutes."
Then, next time...
"I'll look at it later."
Then...
"Alright, let's see... *looks at a trigger* Ohhh... this is simple as hell. Now I just need to learn one thing..."

It took me about 30 seconds to figure out the basic format I need to put triggers in when I decided to look at it.
I wasn't even testing, I just looked at it and knew.
