Yo, uh i dont know if anyone else feels this way but i think starcraft if running real low of fuel. I Love this game and the thing that always made me wanna keep playing was the fact the people were finding secrets bugs and modding the game into a whole new thing.. but i seems like starcraft has reached its limits there really hasnt been any Major discoveries in a long while, and from the looks of it there isnt gonna be a starcraft 2 and if there is its a Long Long ways from being made, i know theres uhm the unoffical starcraft 2 but yea to me its not the same.....if they do make a starcraft 2 i hope they keep things the same cause thats what made starcraft such a great game the fact that when you shoot something it totally explodes and blood shoots everywhere. but i dont know is starcraft dying/ dead? cause if it is thats really really sucks.. i know the ideas are steal there and maps are still being made but not nearly as much as it once was. and no offence but todays b.net maps are nothing more then a league of bounds and defence maps which got boring after about 2 or 3 of them. These are sad times, i wish warcraft 3 was never made lol, killed starcraft. Plus i dont really dig the whole cartoony graphics thing. but oh well anyone else feel this way?

Yea, i remembered when like 2 years ago all my friends had starcraft. Now they laugh at me for playing this 'outdated' game because they moved to WC 3.

Honestly... I really do hate warcraft 3. I honestly wish it wasn't made.
Their editor is just a mod.. and making a game have capabilities and support modding just screws the whole game up. I hate that. Starcraft is fun because it has limits and it's fun discovering ways the pass these limits. But I slowly feel we have ran out of ideas.

Blizzard... get your ass moving - we really want starcraft 2.

Yes, Starcraft has gone to hell ever sence the first Hacks where made. It sucks because Blizzard wants more money over quality. There are too many Warcraft fans over Starcraft fans, and Blizzard is using that as an advantage to make more money and produce more warcraft games. When World of Warcraft comes out, Blizzard is probly going to remake battle.net. And ther have been rumors that they wont put Starcraft on it because it is too out dated. So lets face the facts... It's going to be a while before SC 2 Comes. Its already been a long time for Ghost to come out... Starcraft is going... or already have gone to hell.

junging by the technologies sc2 wouls totaly own any other game given the original gameplay quality (balance/etshtm)

earth 2150 is the game that it should take some ideas

Earth 2160 looks really impressive in the Trailers, don't expect Starcraft 2 in an RTS format for at least 3/4 years. I'd stop this kind of thing, it doesn't help. Major discoveries, the exact same thing was said two years ago, and everyone is still here, and you lot are mainly a young market, and i'm the old market, and its still all gravy.

I'll stay with SEN and SC b.net till the day blizzard pulls the plug. When they do pull that plug we will have the biggest poll SEN will ever have:

Then I'll be the only one not crying myself to sleep because they lost all their maps and files and hacks. I only play the game.

They can never 'pull the plug' on Starcraft Battle.net, their mistake, but when you bought the game one of the main features that came with it was "Free Internet play: Battle.net (internet service required)" So, as you can see, they won't because if they do they will be liable to get sued.

But they also wrote that this license can be altered at anytime.

That's a bit pointless if they can change it....

Perhaps if they do pull the plug someone else could make a server to support SC and make something lets let people play SC on it without downloading stuff possibly... be expensive though, but it would be neat if SC lived.

Starcraft can't die untill starcraft2 or battle.net death ...
