Open any editor other than the original one and you will see coloring symbols you can copy-paste into your text.

Use starforge or scxe. Personally i like the proedit map colors feature.

and they have a page on scindex that can do it for you and all you do is copy paste.

you do not need to paste the tabs after each letter or word. just put the color tab before the word or phrase you want colored. starforge color is easier because it displays the colorto put in text and it auto copies and pastes

You never used Zap Editor, or any of those other custom editors Before SC-Xtra?

Kids these days back when I was your age We had to keep our overlap characters and color codes in a text file, and copy from that. [/oldsounding]

Don't remind me of that Bolt, god that was annoying.
It was even more annoying when you accidentaly deleted the file or copy/paste/cut or did something to it.

Those were the good old times, I remember looking for my Map Colors.txt file. pinch.gif

It was hard work to get colors in. When I was using Zap Placer, they hadn't invented overlapping yet. Or they didn't include it in the file huh.gif

The editor must be a newer one, like X-tra Editor or StarForge.
The old ones aren't really editors, but mods. You can use Arsenal II to make the size of the unit like 1x1 pixel or something and run that as a modded editor.

You actually had to double click on "Starcraft Campaign Editor" to get to it. You actually could have picked "Starcraft" which I never tried because I use nocd hack, but it would probably have a game where all the units took up no space at all. Of course the building size was probably still there...

Overlap came out before X-tra I remember cause i was pissed that they added it into the editor. Back then you had a feeling of "eliteness" if you overlapped at all. Now it proves nothing and in some cases shows "newbism".

Ha Ha the words i make up

If you don't have a special editor, use this link.

http://www.scindex.com/articles.php?id=7

SOme will work differently though in different places you use them though. So it's best to use a dled editor.

In the color generator in scindex...why the hell you want to color your triggers?

To sort them even better tongue.gif

Comments already sort but if you have huge sections, colors would be great!

It doesn't color your triggers. It can be placed in text that appears in the map so that Forces or map names or display text or leaderboards have colored or stacked text. Play a bound, that colored text is what he means.
