umm why did u make this? it doesnt help at all and there are tutorials on starforge already

if you were to make a tutorial you should submit it to the database or at least make it so it shows how to USE STARFORGE not how to open file and show us where the tool bar is

Yes, the Help does not work but the about starforge works. Because that is where all the credits are...how can you not credit your own awesome editor? Your tutorial was pretty basic. I think even the newest knows how to read and has commen sense. Admire your willingness to waste your time on this thouhg. tongue.gif

Yea, Lol, I was pretty bored....Dont ask..This is a dead topic now...I'll think about making a better tutorial on starforge triggers.

You know clokr_ already waisted his time with that, i doubt there is anymore to say.

You can waste time to make an even detailed tutorial. I tried to learn from Clokr_'s but I didin't understand (maybe it would help if I read it a few times...) anyways. I learnt how to use starforge myself.

I don't think it gets much more detailed than that. If you still can't do it then you likely just have a poor knowleage of the triggers. Or . . . Cuts self off

Starforge is not hard to use... maybe triggers are for some noob people

but all u gotta do with triggers is this:

1st: you type the condition name (ex: Always)
- after it you type this: "();"

2nd: inside the () you have to type the things you need to active that condition
- ex: Bring(Player, Comparison, Number, Unit, Location);
- Those things to write are all indicated when u r doing the triggers

3rd: do the same thing for actions.. its all the same

TIPS FOR NOOB:

- Do not forget the ";" after the ")" or else.. it doesn't work...
- Always use " when entering text or comments or else.. it doesn't work...
- Use the lastest version of Starforge if u want to make triggers with it cause the
older sumtimes crash while doing triggers

If you dont understand that... stay with your Xtra Editor
or....
That's because my english skills suck.. cause im french

I'm sorry about that.......

I just learned by making triggers in X-tra then opeening the map in SF. I got it in about two days. You just have to be able to figure things out, or you are in deep s***.

I think Clokr_'s guide is good for newbs, but if you can, it seems best to figure it out by yourself.
