Below two version the same map but both good different things

This is good map for top v bottom! or team melee.

This one good for 3v3 or 2v2 melee.
Please post answers to if you think this is good and balanced map. I try hard to balance it out, and belive i done good job =].
Not to be cold or anything, but this part of the forums is mainly directed to UMS maps... and their production. You should spend your time with triggers instead of terrain.
NO this is show case/ Melee OR Ums get facts right first before your lay down your aswers =]

Na I made this one! about 3 weeks ago, I ask for it to be reviewed but never got it that i know =]. if it did then i had no feedback from it.
*Shrugs* You can hardly me call me a melee fan. UMS is the backbone of the online community, if you only had melee, StarCraft would have collapsed years ago. I mean, come on, can you even compare SC to C&C Generals with only melee? Generals would own SC, and I've been a fan of SC since it came out. But, I do have to back WellMad on this one, he has every right to post here as much as you do!
Melle maps have as much right to be here as UMS. This is a mapmaking site dedicated to UMS, but it doesn't say UMS only anywhere.
In my own opinion I think your map was poorly made. It is far too small for the number of players it has and it's quite unbalanced since players start right next to each other some in cliffs some not. The players on the cliffs have a wide un-fair advantage over their counterparts.

. Oh well. Let's see, it doesn't look like you put a lot of work into making this map, whereas some people are on and off cliffs, some people might get more room to build and quicker expo than others and there's too much open space...at least for me. It could be a lot better...

you've got smth in you but the map isnt balanced.
try moving the circle into the center
make 4 players near corners an expo @ corners and a cliffy seperating them from center with an exp and alot of mins @ center =)
They are running a Map Making Contest for Melee maps at Teamliquid, and there has been a long running one at WGTour, use those for examples as they are very impressive.
MELEE IS THE BACKBONE OF THIS GAME.
PROGAMING SCENE MEAN ANYTHING TO YOU?
Starcraft has the largest pro-graming scene in the world, and thats for Melee, not UMS. Case settled.
First thxs for the input! =] I played this map about 4 times with all players in a topvs bottom (with each team being at the bottom and the top, and I can say that the rom does get filled up and that not too unbalnced, on a 4 player it is/ or can be very unbalced due to start locations.

Thxs coke for input about melee being the backbone of this game, I will say their is load more ums then melee maps made, but thats due to the fact ums players only like meny different factors and differetn game sytles were as melee players play both types games(just mostly melee's.
