1. Thats impossible, the the closest to that is to give a Computer Player Medic with Optical Flare and tell them to attack the players...
2. Agreed
3. ?
4. Impossible, limitations of the game again, certain units don't work in X-Tra editor either!
5. What does that mean?
6. Well, that goes without saying!

Half of those things aren't legal. You'd be changing the coding of the game, which is illegal and not pratical (everyone would have to have your "add-on")

1. STARFORGE ISN'T COMPLETED
2. WAIT UNTIL IT IS THEN SUBMIT
3. STARFORGE WILL HAVE MOST OF THOSE WHEN IT'S DONE ANYWAY

ok done you now get the point that starforge is still in the making

What also would be nice is to have a quick preview to see if your triggers are working. And also a better tutorial to help newbie map makers (like me).

Accually, one of the interesting features I saw about Starforge (I love and support this kind of thing) Is that you can view a map that was protected by starforge, but you cannot edit it or view it in any other type of map editor. Its a better way of map protection, because then people know how you did it without having map stealers.

Whoa I never knew that but I was wondering does it or will it be able to edit the fog layers? like make them so you can see through them but not quite just enough to see unit's moving?

The closest thing to that is "turning lights off" which you cant see it, but you have to have your guy hotkeyed.

Well what I really wanna know....is it possible to do what I want?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by chuiu on 2003-12-13 at 11:58:09
No,sorry. You can only give fog. You can place a unit and remove it with another trigger.

When "Lights Off" If you've hotkeyed a unit, and you can't see it, IE your ally isn't in sight of it, and you are not shared with them, then you can control it like normal, but stack and censored.gif without any minimap blimp or unit sight...

It will have that.

As for the Fog issue, you can only remove the 'complete' blackness, then you can switch from semi-black to normal with certain triggers. Maybe have something for unit vision like:

In the daytime create an observer and always move it over player and at night remove so the unit appears to have a smaller vision at night.

Since you can "see" the observer, maybe have a map revealer created at a location centering on the unit, then removing all map revealers, then creating a new one, then remove it, etc.
