I'd love someone to actually make an accurate picture of Troy, maybe just for the "background location", but have it look correct. The Troy movie got it all wrong...

And what exactly does the ancient city of Troy look like? I wonder how you would know, seeing as how it is very old and stuff...

Fine; if you can't find the real picture of Troy, get the History right.

Read that and see how wrong TROY THE MOVIE was...

Coko show us a picture. Also, making a map historically accurate can take away from the map. Take your artistic leave, but not too much.

Don't worry I know the story getting the city excatly as it was is impossiable cause i don't know what it really looks like, The story tho we have gone over in many of my classes at school so i know it.

Troy kicked ass; who cares if the history was inaccurate?

Because if they'd followed it correctly people would have died at right time and it would have been more fun, much more death in the Book, as well as longer period, they didn't attack Troy for ages by destroyed their neighbours.

Coko you explained what was wrong with it. My question is who cares that it is wrong in the first place? If I wanted to know how it went down, I would watch the history channel...like that would EVER happen.

I don't care how "historicaly correct" this map is, This map is not ment to be educational, its supposed to be fun. If it bothers you that much you can make your own map of troy and give the entire story to everyone that cares that much.

blink.gif Dang Everyones so hostile wink.gif I myself do prefer that maps dont suck and im glad to hear a new troy is coming out, but no one rly cares for the historical accuracy. If it can be like the movie then its a good map. The movie wasnt bad at all if u just saw it as an entertaining movie and not a historical picture. Point of playing maps is not to review ur history class discussion, its to enjoy the map!

Anyway Coko! Who are you to dictate how people make their own damn maps? If he wanted to be accurate he would have said Troy V. Historically Correct!

We all know that these movie maps and the movies themselves are all messed to hell. It doesn't matter, so long as they are fun to play.
