CODE
SEN Admin To-Do List

I'm making a little list here to help us collaberate in our efforts and fix problems faster. I just got base FTP access, so I might be able to help with coding issues. Feel free to post (or edit, though I would prefer not to). Fixed items will be removed at a specified amount of time after the Fixed date (the list isn't cluttered, so I don't know when yet). If you get something added from the feedback forum, please include a link.

Completed
Issue has been resolved and dealt with. Should major additional problems occur, a new list entry shall be created.
Critical Priority
Red Alert! We're all going to die! This is for major public security holes, "they've got a bomb in the site and if they don't get $500,000 in 3 hours they'll detonate!", etc.
Medium Priority
We have a problem here. This is for important display issues, functionality problems, worthy code flaws, and minor contained security threats.
Low Priority
This stuff isn't too important, but hey, it needs to get fixed. This is for minor display issues, spelling or grammar errors, and other items that will not majorly affect the site if left unattended.
Unconfirmed ??
Issue was reported, but evidence provided is not sufficent to be categorized into a priority class.

Do you want the Staff Members to be listed under "administrators" Here.
http://www.staredit.net/index.php?&act=Stats&CODE=leaders

Thats the "Moderating team" window you access from the my assistant window.

I don't care, I'm only pointing it out cause i wonder if you knew about it and if thats the way you want it.

?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿v?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿

Oh yeah, while im at it I need to make a suggestion

Here is a Suggestion [/echo]
Anyways I was thinking it would be nice if search list of when you look at peoples post had more options.
This thing
1. It would be nice to have the Post # thing (you know the little button you click that shows the url for that post)
2. Uhh the rest are modderator things lol
2.1. And Edit button (so we don't have to follow though the link and all
3. The little check box to select the post so you can do Mass options like Mass Delete or maybe a new option of Mass Edit/Replace. (this is only really helpfull if your dealing with spammers like when that dude was posting all the porn)

Well Thats it for today folks, I don't know if that is likely/resonable request but RESPOND HEAR ME CRY.

Ha Ha Ha i have so much fun in the admin section, i can do all my spamming and not worry about setting a bad example or abusing any post counts or crap.

Yeah I saw your request, I'll do it tomorrow maybe (off of work).

I didn't code it that way, but I really don't care... I gave moose every capability I have so he practically is an admin, but, just doesn't use the power he has.

Anyways, Q for you moosey, did you change the alternating rows to be green/gray instead of green/blue? I could have swore they were blue before.

I found out how to bypass censorship codes. I saw that someone wrote a censored word and I went like "Wtf, thats supposed to be censored". I took a look and edited the post and saw that they used BBCodes like this:

CODE
fu[color=white]ck[/color]

Effect:
fuck

Well BeerKeg, unless there is a easy php fix. (like making it so bb code isn't considered when checking for curse words). I would just leave it Theres always a billion ways to bypass the censorship, and everyone of them is not allowed, If it is abused then warn the person doing so.

But your right that method should proboly be fixed. I assume it can.

F.U.C.K ƒuck fu(k F.uck fuĉk fuĉk fuċk fučk fuÇk fucķ ƒųςķ
Then hundreds more and then all the other words, can't add them all.

What are all the cencered words anyway I think there (testing)

I don't like hitting reply to this thread and delete all that quote. Won't it be better to leave it open that way everyone with access tot his forum can post here.

Anyways I have a pretty good way of making all those censor codes apply to what you just said Bolt, but there is some coding to be done so that mod can have access to that seccion of the Admin CP. (I belive to censor a word right now you need access to Admin CP).

Anyways everytime someone tries to bypass it, we take waht he wrote(IE: F.U.C.K) and we censor that even with all those dots.
When BBCode is used like the one I posted we just censor it even with the BbCode.

If you're thinking of using wildcards, it will definitely screw with non-cursing posts. ANY occurance where there's the letter f, u, c, and k in ANY order will get censored.
But, if its different, just tell us what it is, no need for access to be given.

It'll simply be impossible to censor every possibility. Besides your long list of special acsii characters, there's also a russian u and f that look like an english u / f that also passes the filter.

If people swear in the shoutbox, ban them from it and I'll remove them whenever I feel like it. Every few days I clear out the list of new people.

If people swear in posts as flamming, verbally warn them once and if it's repetivie, warn them. I believe Xeno stopped after a good warning smile.gif.

BeerKeg, since your a global mod now you can reply to locked threads by simply clicking the "closed" button at the bottom.

Basicly I just don't like seeing that on my screen form this site mainly because it is Teen(13+).

True it is nearly imposible to censor all those posibilities but we can censor the more common ones.

The example took was from Xeno. I edited his post and verbally warned him in his post and via PM, which is more effective than I thought.

Nice, I didn't know I could do that Bolt. I also was thinking of opening the topic since before I had access to this forum but not to the closed topics.

I'm going to unpin this. It isn't really used anymore. Maybe create a new one when we do a major upgrade of sorts, otherwise it just takes up space.
