Merchants 3 - War of Merchants (Versus Map)

Background Story
Now with Savavril out of the way mankind expands to all ends of the world. Monsters are nearly extinct and heros have seemingly become mercenaries.

Current Story
Expanding to a whole world Merchantkind isn't content with just being one city. Expanding to control more metropolitans and crushing the other Merchant is their only goal now.

Tips
This game is kinda Diplo meets Kings and Knights. The Heros are Hired and can't join for free. There are only two ways for a hero to get exp, kill the computer at a metro, or kill the enemy player.

Metropolitans can revolt at the end of a timer about 25% of the time they will spawn a few units that will attempt to defeat what you have there. You are required to own the most metropolitan on the world map before you can enter the other merchants capital to kill him.

Recomended Players - Both Merchants, 2 Heros
Estimated time to Play - 3hr
Difficulty - 6

I know this, I love this, this is one of my all time favourite map-ever!
However, the map maker did a BAD job at teaching us(the players) in the in game tutorial.

Also, people who are big fan of Merchants 1 and 2 thinks this sucks because merchants don't get infinate load of unit from merchants and start a massacar on the computer.
This game is only for people wants-and knows how-to use their brain.
Juding most of the B.net populations are stupid players who plays stupid maps where you just mass like an idiot...the minimum amount of player required to play makes this map really, really hard to have fun with.(newbs all saying 'this map sucks' and even more players say 'I don't understand!')

This map is more than diplo, it's harder, especially.
You've done the background story, so I will explain further about this map.

======
Merchant
======
As a merchant you start with little cash(only 500, and a barraks already cost 150). In order to get more cash, you either:
1.wait for the extra funds to roll in.
2.take over metropolitans
The more metropolitans you own, the more funds will roll in for you, allowing you to build a bigger and better army.
After taking over enough metropolitans, it's time...Kill the other merchant, and you will be the only merchant ruling this world!

====
Heros
====
As a hero you need to be hired, due to the lack of monsters in the world. You have extraordinary strength, can take care of 5 soldiers at once, and can upgrade. The more you kill, the more cash you have, and the better upgrades you can get! Ask a merchant to hire you, help him take over metropolitans, and finally destroying the enemy merchant!

Actually you can play this game without heros, however, heros do really speed up the game a lot. In a game with heros, a merchant can take over a metropolitan within the first 10 minutes, while it takes 20 minutes for a merchant to be in control of the first metropolitan. Heros can upgrade their weapon, and also the form, which makes them really strong...
Download the map and play it! Recommended!

blushing.gif awww thanks... I think I'll stop attacking your army in the Army area sad.gif I was mineral hungry and didn't nottice you posted this review.

Geh -_-;;;

yeah I'm not excelent with introduction tutorials but I had hoped that new players would learn how to click on a building read the name, then generally get the idea of what it would be used for.

For those used to Merchants 2, the Merchants 3 layout isn't too much different, you still have location beacons to enter and exit for the merchant towns. But you choose when you want to level up via in game option.

I'm not sure how but I've stopped attacking you. Dosn't seem like many people have minerals on the armies thing.
