I was the first to answer so I guess you all know what I voted....
I don't really see the point. Most girls in my school are very dim, and I'd rather do what i want to do that cater to some girl who doesn't know the sun is start, not a planet.
I'm not gay or bi or antisocial (not too antisocial atleast), I just don't find it fascinating at all.... I know many people will disagree.

What the hell is High School?
Personally i think younger dating is very important, as it means your less shy to be with girls when your older, or at least was the case for me. Sure your get shy from time to time, but your be used to it from previous, flirts/girlfriends/friends, and be able to enjoy everything so much more.

The second choice for sure i couldnt of said it better myself i hate how girls can get attached and find myself telling them that its only high school what did you expect? sometimes you have to hurt someones feelings to get the point across i hate to do it but you have to im very careful about what i say in relationships i make sure i never say i love them because that would just plain be a lie whenever they say "love you" i just say "ya" or "hmm" i pity those who take it sereusly and cry when you break up becuase in high school the goal isnt to get married its to have fun and if you have sex with them the they think that you are going to be together forever ithey just get way to emotional for there own good.

Coko, high school is the level of school before university in the US. It is grades 9-12, which I think is years 1-13 in UK? I haven't been there for a while so I don;t know, but its the last four years of you school life before university and the only time at public school you can choose your own classes.

Even though im no longer in HS I'd say that it can be fun but dont take it all so seriously. I persoanally think thats the problem with people is that they over emphasize HS relationships, when 9 times out of 10 they wont marry that person and a good chance of never even seeing them again after graduation.
My advice enjoy HS while you can, there's nothing else like it in the world.

Anyways, high school dating should be kept in perspective. You and the other person are young and don't know exactly what's going on. Young people don't know what love is (and even some adults), so therefore, should avoid the stupid
that comes with the idea of being in love and you'll avoid a lot of pain.Overall, dating in high school sucks because dating sucks generally. People don't show their true colors at first so you might hopelessly fall in love with someone only to figure out that someone is a immature little
later on. Then you got people playing their stupid games to try to weed out (players, gold diggers, etc).More specificly to high school dating, people want different things. While you might be attempting to look for a long term, serious relationship, maybe they just want a short term relationship for fun. Also, dating in high school is somewhat pointless because your significant other might be moving away to college in a different state than you and long term relationships have like a .01% success rating.
Coko and SP are right... it's good for building confidence and such. Can you ever know what love is until you experience what love is not?

lol i accually have a girlfriend, we have been together for about 2 years now, and you never know whats gona happen in the future, you might find the girl/guy of your dreams and be together forever so i guess you never know
