Ok, heres how you do it, Selest the start location on the left hand panel, No look up at the top of starforge and where it has "1" in the text box, change the number to what ever player you want it to go for, so if you want to place a start location for player 8, You select the start location at the left hand panel, Go to the text box where it sais "1" in it, change it to "8" for player 8.

When having selected the start location unit, you can press a number. This will allow you to place units for that player. It's faster than going up to the box and changing the number.

No... I meant just press the number on your keyboard. Don't even go to the box. Just have a unit ready to be placed, then press a number on your keyboard.

Does he mean actual start locations or the sprites of start locations (the ones you can see in gameplay)? With an "Average" skill level, I'd assume he knows how to do the first part...

Star forge is one the easy editors for changeing players colours and seting up the same units for different players ie seting down 7 command centers or bunkers different players =].
