what exactly does ip banning do. i use it a lot on my bot but i only have a clue on what it does. does it make it so that all screen names with the same ip are banned?
Yeah, i believe that it would be so you cant create a new name and try to get into the channel. IP ban makes it so you cant do that.
IP ban does exactly what you might think --- bans the IP of the person, so they stay banned, even if they change SNs.
