i'm trying to map a picture of the command center wireframe into a space tileset map, but, unfortunately, both sc picture mapper and bmp have error messages.
bmp25cm error message - "The ordinal 34 could not be located in the dynamic link library lmpqapi.dll."
then, when i go to create a map in sc picture mapper, i get this error: "Run-time error '63'; Bad record number"
any solutions? if not, someone could really help me out if they mapped the picture of this cc

into a map. help in either manner would be greatly appreciated
You can't convert a bitmap image to 5 centemeters.
Make sure you close staredit before you run the program.
PS it is bmp2Scm.

ok, i enlarged the wireframe, but i'm still having problems in bmp25cm. staredits closed, and i'm confused. is the library the error message refers to in the wrong directory? or should i just give up all together?
Are you writing the number for every color in the image? And are you using the SF numbers correctly.... Basically, I guess that means can you make it work with other images?
Yeah, i think you should give up all together.
lol, i guess i'm gunna have to take up Bolt_Head's advice. i thought it would be simple. and i understand how to use the colors in bmp25cm- but its still crashing. in fact, both of them are crashing. my map can do without it, i just thought it would be a nice touch.
maybe ill do it for you tomorrow or anyone else who wants to can also.
Its not called BMP25CM (you didn't get my joke in my first reply)
yea, my bad. but i'm too lazy to fix it.

You sound like my younger brother...
i would just use SCPM cuz it takes quicker
however, if u want to stick with bmp2scm, go ahead

I like SCPM cuz it's faster
but I like BMP2SCM because it gives a better choice/control
the fact i hate bmp2scm is because you have to find colors, multipy and then add. When you're done sometimes, the picture doesnt come out
Also, you might be halfway through bmp2scm then if some error msg comes out uh oh, ur screwed
Ya if you use
SCPM it works great and there are a lot of pros and cons with it but i would rather live with the cons od SCPM rather than messing around with Bmpscm
But thats just me
PS i have made a few reallu cool rpg/bound (together) an RPG and a Bound together from a simple picture of maze or something off of google

Where can I find SCPM? I've been looking but I couldn't find it on SEN at all.
I just took the zip from comp. It should be it. Enjoy!
You're welcome.
Do you know how to use it? Read the help file. (import pictures into the SCPM folder)
Best if your picture is 128x128.
Yeah I know how, but I think I still like BMP2SCM better. This one is so limited though considering it sticks with only black and white on some tilesets, blue on Twilight, and orange on Desert. It's too bad we can't have theprogram remember other tiles that we (the user) set. I know where a bunch more useful colors are on Badlands, but SCPM only rcognizes about 23 of them.
You can't ask for too much. It does all the work for you! You can still adjust the brightness a bit to make it lighter/darker. Same with contrast. I prefer to use SCPM because I am too lazy to use BMP2SCM. Besides I only make the pictures for fun,
