No offense, but it's pretty much a "duh" question.

Xbox 2 would be mistaken to be released without Halo 3 at it's side... Just look at GC launched without Mario... Ouch.

Anyway, I heard rumors that Halo 2 was actually CUT OFF from having an excellent single player. A person said that Bungie had intended to bring a bigger single player into the game such as the mombosa level (whatever) from E3, but Microsoft told them not to as to keep Halo 3 even more popular...

Bungie IS NOT going to release Halo 3 when X Box 2 comes out. That would be really stupid on there halfs. Im pretty sure they said thereselves there going to test the potential of xbox two by making a different game or something, and then make halo 3 when they know what they are dealing with.

why the hell would bungie make ne hting else for the box!! halo owns!!

If ANYONE payed attention to the storyline in halo2/EVEN PLAYED CAMPAIGN
*most people hated campaign* the storyline ENDS IN SUSPENSE!!! THEY LEAVE YOU HANGING and most people didnt pay attention, listen to the second level *playable not cinima*, the regret scene, you hear cortana/general keyes saying "Hmm, I wonder why the prophet of regret chose to land here..." then, it goes at the end finding that the 'Key/Halo command' center is ON EARTH!!! OMG!!!!!! so you see them go to earth, and cortana was like your not gonna believe where it is, THEY ARE SETTING THEM SELVES UP FOR HALO 3 NO CRAP!!??! lol okay there we go thats off my chest, next on teh lafter list,
thats basically why some magazines rated halo 2 so low, becuase it just left the storyline, though i bet Halo 3 will have an explosive story and best multiplayer yet, so... yea... lol Halo 3 WILL definetly beat halo 2, new system entirely, probably better online play, better levels, more weapons, more graphx...
thats just my opinion though

so they can figure out how to make games for the system and not release a game that is highly anticipated, which isn't worth the $50 because of the bugs, and this is such a stupid question., no they just leave master chief there before a boss battle and you never finish it...*rolls eyes*[/sarcasm]

Hmm...considering all the money they made with halo 1 and halo 2 you'd think they'll make halo 3. Besides the ending to halo 2 sucked, you need to wait for halo 3 to come out. Think of all the $$$ you would make!

I'm abusing the bugs in Halo2 right now. On the second level you can climb on top of rooftops and skip half the level. And I almost found a way to skip the tunnel part too.

Anyways, this is one of the stupidest questions I've seen. If someone just dropped a game in the middle of the story line, then they deserve to be shot. So they will make a new one.

Well considering they sold 1.5 billion copys of halo 2 when it came out worth i think around 75-100 billion dollers if they were to make a halo 3 it would make them alot more money, and big bussiness always likes money lol

let me clear this up... Halo 3 will be released when the other Next Gen Consoles hit, as somethin to turn the tides. According to MicroSoft , and according to popular Halo Forum Talk Bungie has all the time in the world to work on it, bu it has to be ready by the time PS3 or Nintendo releases their next Gens. Halo 3 will most likely be on X2. But, this is all Halo Fanatical Talk, how much of it is true can't really be measured. But, I'd like to believe that Halo 3 would be released on X2. I mean... If they up the graphics too much higher even Xbox will have lag time in it. And I don't think anyone wants that when there goin' one on one with an elite. ... btw I happen to be one of those Halo fanatics -.-

Halo 3 is supposidly going to be on the X-box 2 (?) format. It won't be on the X-box we have today.

X2. What more could they do to Xbox so make it so much better that you need its to play H3? Reduce size, make it a little faster, and slightly better graphics. Thats all. H3 can be made for Xbox as it is now. And YES there will be H3. How stupid can you be to assume that their wont be a H3 after the ending to H2?! Will it be the final game in the series? Possibly, many good things come in 3s. However I dont think so, more like 7 games (1 for each of the Rings). Would it get redundant by then? sure...but its Bungie will make the most of it. Plus i dont think you can fit a war as big as this into just 3 games.

Hey Frankie I'm a diehard Halo fan, and after I beat Halo 2 I was left with a sense of incompletion. Now I'm not complaining, Halo 2 is excellent especially multiplayer, but I just need to know something. What was the reasoning behind the ending, did you guys intend on the cliffhanger initially or did you guys just run out of time.
