Well a map I've been thinking of decided to make it's way onto SC today. I'd like to call it Random Sh!t (Yeah with the exclamation point).

It'll start off with a really easy bound trap, then just random stuff will happen. I've been thinking of making you slaughter your friend (You pick one at the start), or maybe random unit catching on fire and it kills what it touches.

Please give ideas, I'm fresh out.

And for those who know me, you know my maps usually have sick twists for no reason.

Awesome. I think you should have a unit randomly combust then recreate immediately. Like when you have a 1x1 location follow a unit, have the unit die when it exits the location then make it recreated inside the location. It could really piss people off wonderfully.

Maybe when the game starts give the players like 99 lives then just kill them like 89 times very quickly so you're left with 10... biggrin.gif

That could really make people go "OMFgZ0R WTFAJE LoL~~!", maybe it could be a random start-up thingy too.

Make it, Kill the Civ, but you can't touch it or you'll die.
I like Xeno(U)'s idea. Make it a very high number, then kill em like a lotta times in a row and be like, that is your number of lives.
Then make a level where it goes, kill a unit* to get to the next level. And they have to choose which person to take a life from. Make it an enclosed room. the unit* should be the name of the bounding unit.
Make it so that you have to dodge the places without explosions. So make the explosions air.
Make it so that you have to play a level without vision. Make it have a place where your zergling spawns, then tell them to move it to the beacon, where you goto a place, where you have no vision. and expect them to do it. make it easy, like a sucky trap.

Oh rex I have a good one why dont you make it so that there is a room you are enclosed in with several units and you have to collect all of one type while dodging the other type. Dunno jus an idea.

Okay here is my situation:

I just got a new computer, but I need some hardware to connect it to the internet.

When I get this hardware (Max 1 week) I'll E-mail myself the map, then work on it a ton.



Then we can "Group project" it again.

This sounds awesome.

- Make a part where control of the unit shifts randomly from player to player
- Make an obstacle out of cpu nukes
- When they're about to win, make it so they can't touch the victory beacon
- Expanding on the life thing, give them one life (or however many you plan on giving them) and make it go up to 1000, and then back down to 1
- Play weird music in the background, like Barney's "I Love You" with Civil War battle songs. Add in the Beatles for a touch of realism smile.gif
- The banning system should ban the person trying to ban the person (confused?)
- Make a part where you have to land all the players' buildings at the same time
- In one of the "avoid the creature" obstacles, make the creature do one less dmg than you're health (for laughs; make the level really hard otherwise, and make the creature unclickable biggrin.gif)
- Make an obstacle where an army of Vultures in running into a wall and blowing itself up and you have to get to the other side without being run over of killed by shrapnel

You know in some bounds, there is an ultra and you have to run by w/o being killed.

My idea is for the ultra to do one less dmg than your total hp, so it doesn't kill you.

To intimidate the player, make the level extremely hard (with conventional obstacles) and make the ultras unclickable (give it back and forth between two players).

It makes a good lvl 1 while setting the mood for the rest (I'm assuming the mood is insanity+randomosity) of the game.
