Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> 2x 4x game speed

Im making a map similar to minimoose map Lt <<speed>> and i want to create a map with 4x speed.
to do this i have to ....


-2x Map Speed
Place a player 13 or player 14 Map Revealer at the very top left of your map (Use a Grid and make sure it doesn't go off the map). This unit must be placed first. Use SCMIE if you have already done most of the units in your map.

-4x Map Speed
Place a player 14 scarab at the top left of your map. This must be the first unit placed in the map. Use SCMIE if you have already placed many units in your map.


My question is, if i place an interceptor and map revealer at top left corner, will it be 6x speed?

and do the scarabs or interceptors explode or continue to fly around during the game?

1st Question: No the speed don't add up. (I don't think so, there are individual other units for 8x speed etc.)

2st Question: I don't think it matters even if they explode, the speed still stays at 4x speed even if the scarab does explode.

This is my own judgement (which I am very positive is correct). Anyone correct me if I'm wrong.

No Player 14 scarab and interceptors do the same thing.
x8 is just another way silent first called it, was actually x4

No, speed does not add up and preplaced interceptors/scarabs will disappear.

The units that you put up there don't exist, thats all there is to it. P14 is an illegal player, therefore it is not there. That is why the game glitches trying to read a unit for P14 and speeds up the game. ...just thought I'd mention that...

the only thing that left upper corner does is crash your map if you go over the corner... seemingly 'some' effect that it works. lol

Thats because no one seems to test or figure things out for themselfs. Personaly i figured out how to do 2x on my own.

It's just that people keep saying it as if you MUST ABSOLUTELY HAVE IT IN THE UPPER LEFT... which is false. If I see the word "upper left" one more time I'm going to die. oO

The only reason why people think that you need it to be in the uper left corner is because the people who explaine don't state that if you can see the p14 units sc will crash. Therefore they just tell you to put it in the upper left corner. Don't expect you to have a mpa reavealer there or etc.
