Story :

The story takes place on the winter world of Tundrin (Name may change). The days are barely survivable and the nights are deadly... This is the world you live in. Every day is a fight to survive, a battle to win. Some make their way as farmers... But only the brave are explorers.

Explorers wander around the world in search of answers... They fight to survive... They are the hope... The life of the world. Many of them die, and not so many live. This is the life of the Tundrina (Name may change).


Gameplay :

You take on the role of an explorer in the world of Tundrin. You wander the frozen wastelands in search of answers... This will test your skill. Will you perish? Or will you succeed?

Items:
Flint&Tinder. (ability to create 1 fire, warming eveyone near it... Atracts Monsters).
Heat Pack. (Warms oneself... not as affective as fire but less expensive).
IceShard. (Found In Wasteland... Unlocks new areas).
Ammo. (Needed to Fire your weapon... Very cheep...)

I think maybe you could for the FireKit (Maybe call it Flint and Tinder Box), but have it attract any units in a certain location (centerd on it) but they wont get any closer than say a 6x6 square because of the fear of fire? Unless they are fire based units? You get what Im saying?

Ya i totaly understand.

The Name is now Flint&Tinder.


The monsters will be afraid of fire because they are made of ice and live in the cold weather of tundrin. They are attracted to light though because they realize food might be nearby. The Fire is mostly for nightime if you get stuck outside it becomes increasingly cold by about 5x... During the day you can stay outside for... mabe 8 minutes without dieing. Diring the night the fire will keep you warm but you will still get colder... You still stand a better chance of Surviving with a warm fire.

Also maybe an Igloo? Accompanied with fire, it could heat you, but after a while, if there is a fire in it, it will start to melt, exposing you to the cold? And alone it would be less effective than fire, though not attracting animals (It would cost more if you buy them)

I like the idea, How many players will be able to play? What are the explorers tring to find?

I like the story of your rpg, but the way you said it sounds cheezy lol.
But then of course, many things i say sound cheezier.

I probably wont use that idea...
If i have to chose an idea i would use tents instead of igloos... the time period is jsut a little more advanced then right now... The reason they are still exploring is because they need answers to why it is so cold... In drawings they found on cave walls suggested that it wasn't always that way.

The explorers are trying to find answers to the questions of the past...

I'm not telling anymore info on story



EDIT: Ive desided to discard the idea... I have better ideas and this one wouldn't be to popular anyway...

PS: I might decide to start up again if i ever get around to it...
