All these tournaments nowadays use Lost Temple, which gets old and boring right away.
We should try something. Let's get the best and most balanced Melee map from out DLDB and hold a melee tournament using that map! Cuz as i mentioned on some other thread, we need to play games in which we are not familiar with the terrain. We will explore the area, find strategic landscapes, and fight from there. That's what real melee starcraft is about!

Oh, use Icy Paths of DOOM! Barely anyone has DLed it, lol. But that's a good thing. It's my map so I can't enter it but other people can! Just take it down for now so no one can study it and I think you can use a lot of strategies on it, witht he roadway and all.
ADDITION: And we should use more than one map, so in the first round, everyone uses one map and then in the next round, there could be a new map. That should spice things up. Just have people who aren't entering send in maps for you and you choose the best ones, but not show anyone.
Right! And by using these maps will they be able to serve a purpose. Otherwise, people will just download them and not play them for melee.
Yeah I agree we should have new maps that people don't know the terrain. Then it would be more challenging.
Perhaps we should wait till all the other tournys are over. There are, like 2 going on, one by DTBK and one by Kow.

Just use the maps at SCL...
SCL is Starcraft Legacy, I think. sclegacy.com has some maps.

That's not the point though, we need to play maps that we, SEN members, made, not members from starcrap legacies or w/e. That way the melee maps in our DLDB will probably serve a purpose other than just to be dled and not played.
