In Halo 2 there are different 'modes.' I've gotten blind mode which makes it so that you cant see your HUD and your weapons, and i've heard of a hyper mode and some others. In multiplayer (i forgot which level and I cant check because I'm at school right now but Ill update later) there is a level where you are in a huge cave, my friend took a tank and shot a stalagtite (spikey things on celing) and it fell to the flood crushing stuff below. (I have to take his word for it because he told me over the phone). You can unlock the foundatin level in MP by doing a backflip/barrol roll in single player campaign on normal or higher. (you probably did this w/o even knowing it when you unlocked this lvl)
Now here's how to get blind mode:
Go to Outskirts in the campaign. Head through the doorway until you hit a will with a light rod on it. Jump on the light and turn towards the left. You have to hop onto the roof (which can take a while) you have to hop and crouch or get two people and hop on top of each other. As soon as you get on the roof turn left and go down an alley way. At the end there is a skull, grenades, and a telescope thing. (this is the tribute to the pistol from Halo which sucks balls in Halo 2. The grenades represent power, telescope the pistol's scope, and the skull = death) pick up the skull to get blind mode.
heres a site with some more
SecretsTheres an amazing vid on suprnova.org with some incredible

. like ways to get on spots on map and you can throw the flag to player on the spot and he can just walk to the flag drop with ease. Or spots to drop the bomb and the enemy can't get it back. Or spots to jump where u cant die and if you have the lead...u wait timer out. Its a vid pleading to bungee to patch the game. Its pretty sweet.
another fun not-quite-a-secret, secret: to kill the prophet, you can board his floating pedastal and knock him senseless. Always good for a laugh...
Actually.. you get foundation by beating the campaign in any difficulty.
actually, with the new live patch, you can play it withuot unlocking it.
Hey red thats easy

also, I discovered Grunt Birthday Party which is on Legendary on the level: The Arbiter. You go straight down as soon as you get the banshee and theres a little niche with grunts in it. You pick up the skull and it says Grunt Birthday Party and whenever you get a headshot on an enemy it makes a plasma explosion that deals damage

Such a great birthday present!

Isn't that the only way you can kill him? Because I shot him with two rockets and a fuel rod cannon and he didn't die.
Anyways, this trick is useful on Legendary. On the second level (Outskirts I think) when you get to the plateau, run into the alley that the covenant come out of without killing very many of the first ones. This way none respawn there. There's a pile of garbage around there. If you jump on it, you can jump onto the ledge of the building. From there you can jump on to another one and you can make your way around the city on the rooftops. You can go as far as Hotel Zanzibar, and you can drop in through the roof so you wont get hurt.
Nobody has seen that Suprnova.org vid of halo2 multiplayer glitches? There's some amazing stuff. IF you go there click games then halo2 and i'm not sure which one it is but dl all of them. You'll know it when you see it.

Ya it is, you can only beat the prophets up. They have sheild things that delect all your bullets bombs etc. I like the part when one of the prophet gets chewd up by the flood

Thats not what Bungie had to say. Plus I saw it on another site also. Someone also said what you said ond several other people said that it didnt work. Thats why I said that you may have unlocked the level w/o knowing it.

What about a combo of the two?
http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/xbox/code/33895.htmlYes you have to beet the game to do it too. But even if you do just beet it w/o the flippy barrel roll you wont get foundation. Srry if i was unclear
How to 'Fly' in multiplayer w/o a banshee.
What you need:
Sword, Warthog, at least 2 non-allied players, open space.
What to do:
Have the player with the sword get in the passanger side of the Warthog.
Get the other Player close enough so that the Crosshair for Sword Player turns red
Attack with Sword Player (press r not melee attack)
Have Player not in Warthog run away.
Get out of Warthog.
WEEE, you shoot to the running player
I may be a little wrong but I dont think so. I have to wait til xmas to have my own copy but Ive how and my friends have done it. So ya. I want to see the player thats running get in a banshee and fly away so that you chase him in the air
This isn't much of a secret, but in multiplayer, grab a banshee. Do the trick where the banshee flips back, but when the nose is pointing up, press X. It should whip you when you jump out of the banshee, and you'll be smacked pretty high into the air.
Try doing this to launch yourself at enemy wraiths or warthogs, and then board them.
I've seen that video of the flying with out a banshee. But when the player not in the warthog runs away, he did it in a banshee and flew super high and then the person shot to him at the other end of the map.

Heres one I found:
Presto the Magic Grunt!
Where?: The Arbiter
Difficulty: Legendary for sure, maybe on others.
What is it?: This is a little secret that I found that lets you see a grunt magically appear from nowhere. Even if you are right next to his spawning location he still appears.
How?: This works best on cooperative play. Go the the Arbiter level in the campaign. Once you get to the Banshee part (same part as the Grunt B-Day party) go up. Along the outer part of the floating city are several platforms. One will have Grunts on it with Fuel Rod Guns and some turrets. This platform looks identical to the one that you first started on when you began the level. Also there are a pair of fresh banshees for you above the grunts. Kill all the grunts in this area and then fly off to the left. (if i remember correctly)(left if you are flying towards the platform from the center of the city.) There should be a platform where there is now another group of grunts with Fuel Rods that wasnt there before. Behind them is a grey object that is jutting out at an angle. Have one player get behind this and the other player go kill the grunts. Keep your view on the left side of the platform facing towards the other grunts. Once all other grunts are dead, one should appear under the awning-like object.
I claim ownership to this because thusfar I have seen no other remarks about it. I also name the grunt Presto. I claim ownership to this just like the US did to the Moon.
Confirming a previous 'secret'
Yes in the Multiplayer level, "Waterworks", shooting the stalegtites at the top of the arena will cause them to fall down and kill stuff beneath it. I dont suggest using tanks though because they will just shatter the rock. Use a banshee, ghost or warthog.
I don't know any secrets of my own, don't use my take to look for them, just to get them from other people =)
But I, and I'm sure lots of others, appreciate all the time you guys spend looking for all of these secrets and just wanter to say...
TTTTTTTHHHHHHHHAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNKKKKKKKSSSSSSSSSS...
...SSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bunches
I NO A SECRET THEIR MAKING HALO 2 FOR PS2!!!
heres my secret, the game isnt good. dont hurt me
Yeah actually pope you are right. The multiplayer is great though. Hey Red-X why do you keep taking tricks from other websites and putting them on here?

Find some stuff of you're own like I found Grunt B-Day Party and well that's all I found aside from finding that sword+hog glitch the first day Halo 2 came out in multiplayer

I found that grunt didnt I? Plus i only looked how to find the Grunt B-day. All others i did alone.
Nobody has said this yet so I will. In Cairo you can get on top of the level by using grenades in space to jump higher.
I don't get how the skulls work. I got 2 of them then what? Do I have to wait for a checkpoint then I save and quite? How do you use them?
The game isn't good, it's the X-box controller that's good. Halo just happened to be the first to take advantage of it. Good vehicles though. Seamless.
