I get how to do that if only if the loaded units, are on ground. But if you look at mission (brood war) Terran 6, two dropships carrying siege tanks appear. and the whole terrain where they appear on is water. how can there be siege tanks on water?

or is it that you can create dropships that are already loaded... but how do you do that? helpsmilie.gif

Hmm perhaps the drops are loaded somewhere where you can't see, then moved?

Or another possibility is that that when they are 'dropping' the units, they just created the tank and played the wav. with it.

Or, considering Blizzard made it, they could have had it programmed. Jus' a suggestion.
Or, you could have them load up on one section of the map, and then "Move" them to the side you want them to fly to and drop the units out. Anyways, good luck with your map or whatever your doin'.

I am assuming you mean the one where you need to kill a celebrate using dark templars and free the xel'naga temple from the zerg clutches. I took a look at this map a couple of months ago and they created the units and played a wav once the dropships got to where they "unload" the units.

Is that so? Then, I think Blizzard might have been out of it. Considerin' it was there game.. Couldn't they just code it in?

into starcraft.exe, or into the map? Because they did put it in - when you play a campaign map on the starcraft cd you are playing a map in .chk format.

Except the hardcoded a change in the protoss executor image into the last campaign mission in the original campaigns, so obvious you are not just playing a .chk file, since they have done special things. When people take the maps off the CDs, it is through extensive hacking, as they can't just, take the files out, beacuse they are in fact not chks.

I disagree with you and I will continue to think I am correct until I am proven wrong. mellow.gif
