Well, a few weeks ago I embarked on a quest to hunt down and obtain a copy of all the games I use to play in elementary school. So far, I've gotten:

Super Munchers
Number Munchers
Dino Park Tycoon
Odell Down Under (CD copy)
Storybook Weaver (CD copy)
Oregon Trail
Crosscountry USA

I still have three games left to find. One of them is a golfing game, of which the name escapes me... The second is called something like Tessalmania or something, it was about creating shapes and making patterns out of them. I never liked that one very much, but i'm looking for it anyway. The last one, probably the hardest one to find, was about a dog going around diffrent levels and collecting dog treats. No idea what that game is called.

Bleh, this could take awhile.

Number Munchers!!!!111111
Yeah... I'm guessing you have an old computer to play them too? I dunno, we used the big 5 inch floppy disks to play games in school.

Is this golf game a game called Jack Nicolson's PGA golf tour?

Also, I have at least 5 old games that are more than 10 years old, so if you want them pm me or better yet, post here.

Hmm, did any of yall ever get those comps specifically geared towards gaming? They were odd.. You had the 5.5" floppy [big black ones] and you put the game in and most of them had you type in a command like..
"move right, talk to person"
Was crazy.. It supported a lot of games too -.-" .. But by old school games I thought you was implyin games from the NES era...

Oregon Trail is always fun tho smile.gif Huntin stuff.. Though, I don't own it.. Only played it a few times :\

Anyways, Good luck with finding them -.-

Most of these old games do not have a maximum speed that they can be played at. They just play at as fast as they can go. This worked when computers were old and could only run at a certain speed, but now when I play oregon trail (origional) on my computer I cant even see anything before I make it to the next town. Hunting is all but impossible except for the buffalo/bears. You can bareley even see squirrels.

My friend once ran centipede, and when he pressed start, a big screen appeared that said "You lose" Instantly. Fast huh?

Yep. That is why I like to do a "clean boot" before I play any MS dos games. For some reason this slows the computer down. (A "clean boot" is where you boot from your A: drive.)

Nah, i'm only 13, so I never got the chance to play on comps that old. We had some kind of Macs (I don't remember much about them, other than they had funky small, circular mice).

I just remembered the name of that golf game. It was called geometric golfer, or something very similar to that.

Oh, and for the speed issue, get a program callde Turbo. It will slow down your comp so you can play these old games.

Wow I never knew that.

Back on topic: I think I have the game you were talking about with the dog. Did it involve math and saving the number cruncher? I could probably load it onto my computer if I find the CD and send it to you.

Edit: Grarg, couldnt find the CD at my house. I'll keep my eye out for it thought. I too forget what it is called.

Final Fanstay 2 and 3 for SNES and all the Megaman games for NES and SNES, i grew up with Megaman and Final Fanstay, but i'm gonna walk into the SquareSoft and Capcom buildings and kick the CEOs in the nuts for ruining two great serise, FF is just going down the tube and Megaman has been down there since the realize of Megaman X5, they should have just stuck with the same format they did in X4 cuz i actualy cared when Iris died in Zero's story mode (sorry if i ruined it for anybody!) but now, whenever someone dies i'm like meh, big deal, and they seem to be making Megaman X into a whimp and are focusing more on Zero and Axl (the new hero) seems kinda wrong since the game is titled MEGAMAN am i wrong, people?
