Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> The "Blank" units

I was wondering what editor do I use to place "BlanK" units?
(If you don't know what im talking about, its like a non-tassadar templar with an attack or a bc where in the picture of the unit stating damage wheres it turns red yellow etc. it says blank)

Any other editor besides the original Staredit has them, like X-tra Editor. The templar one is Aldaris and the battlecruiser is either Gerald DuGalle or Arcturus Mengsk. Other editors can be found in the Download Database.

Any extra editor works fine, I believe. Place the other hero templar, or one of the extra BCs.

Yea, but those blank units cannot be created with triggers. It kinda sux.

Also the other hero templar's damage automatically matches the other hero templars. really really lame

The same is true for one of the BCs (I forget which one)

Actually 3 of the 4 BC heros have linked attack values.

The only Hero BC that has independent attack values is Hyperion. Norad II, Arcturus Minsk, and Gerad DuGulle are all attack value linked. I just checked in X-tra because I remember having that issue with Merchants 2.

disgust.gif really sucked that the blank npc's can't be trigger spawned... limits what you can do with them significantly.

The reason for the linked attacks, for those who never used ArensalIII and wanna know, is that the creator of the Xtra editor used the same weapon varible for them.
the weapons aren't linked, they're just the same weapon, used by different units.
also, you probobly noticed that the sound is... cheap.

the corsair and razagal also use the same weapon, I'm surprised no one else mentioned it yet...

oh and also, a small trick if want to create Xtra units:
just place them in an unused corner of the map and use the 'Move unit' action.
it's lame... but there's no better way that I can think of.

They link anyway ingame regardless of how X-tra editor was made because they are the default weapons on those units.

lol, yes, sound is screwed up too. Raszagal sounds like a dark templar or Zeratul (I forget which one)

Same with the Tassadar and Aldaris

Yes, it does suck that you managed to get such wonderful extra units that you didn't deserve in the first place, and now you have to deal with their linked attack values. Poor you. And worse yet, you cannot create them with triggers. Poor you.

Salacious.. Thats easy to fix, its called setting upgrades so damage is different! And your sarcasm isn't appreciated ;P

In ShinRa Soldier's footsteps for this 1 thing:
This is what i think of you SaLa: Click Here

General Mengsk (Battle Cruiser, Aldaris (High Templar), and there was 1 other unit but i forgot cry.gif All have there wireframe pictures as "BLANK"

The other one is Gerald DuGalle. The reason they have blank wireframes are because they were never supposed to be used like they can be now. They were created so you can select them and use their portraits. Same goes for Raszagal though I don't know why it has a dark templar wireframe.
