I am making a "youth of the nation map"
It will more than likely be over 4 mb's, but it will be worth the download when it is done. It uses sounds and I can't compress the sounds any further, or else the sounds become distorted, and as a result, it becomes very hard to endure listening to the sounds. Although the terrain is simple, there are some extras in it that people most likely will miss. These features were flukes - it is just a random chance that they happened. The first three people that notice them and post here will get some minerals from me. Anyways... :
Almost/complete:
terrain: 90% done. Left to do: complete the roads using starforge. (I might go back and change some things.) [progress]90[/progress]
death count: 25% done. [progress]25[/progress]
triggers (before testing): 5% done [progress]5[/progress]
Left to do:
Sounds: 0% done [progress]0[/progress]
Testing the map: .2% done. [progress].2[/progress] (Note: I would like some people that are willing to test this map with me. You must be reliable, you never release unfinished maps nor do you steal maps, and you must have cable and be able to be on battle.net for more than 8 minutes.)
Redoing the triggers (if needed): 0% done [progress]0[/progress]
Map history (to be placed in the briefing): 0% [progress]0[/progress]
Releasing the map.

: . Apparently one of my hard drives has short circited. Well... I always wondered what it would look like to blow up a hard drive 
. (Anyone want to see it blow up? I am going to record it and put it online somewhere.) As for the map... well... thankfully I backed it up before my hard drive started to have problems.

What is this map exactly? Is it related the the P.O.D. song 'Youth of the NAtion'? oh and you give minerals to people with idea...you have like 18 minerals lol!

I can't say anything else about the map because if I do someone else might steal my idea. Anyways, I should have at least 200 minerals in the bank.

I don't think the bank is there anymore but I may be wrong. Anyway I wouldn't download a map named after a song from P.O.D :/

Do you have the map backed up though? It would really stink if you didn't and the hard-drive had to be replaced. Hope everything works out for you, and I would like to test your map for the heck of it. I don't lag (I will the first few minuted of being on B.net because my computer always dls a McAfee updates and makes it slow for a while, but that ends quick). I have never released an unfinished map (that awsn't mine), and I don't steal. In fact, I have never tried and I never will. Plus, everyone on SEN would know it is yours since you talked about, so stealing is pointless.
I can be on at around 9 and 10 on most Staurday mornings (east coast time)
So, here's my question, what is it about? Can you give us atleast little hints or soemthing?

I started to have problems with my computer 5 days ago, so I backed up everything. I was trying to figure out what was wrong until yesterday - when I saw smoking coming from my hard drive. That was when I reliezed what was wrong with my computer - my hard drive had short circited 
. I think it will work for another 30 seconds and then be useless (which will be ample enough time to find out just how "interesting" it is to blow up a hard drive.) I will record it and put it on the internet somewhere once I get a digital video recorder.
Anyways, I can't give much more of a hint as to what the map is, because if I do someone might make the map... Besides, I might start a new era with this map

I don't think anyone would be so lame as to read map ideas on a website then go make them lol. And whatever is in your map probably won't be anything new. You have to give us some info man or peole won't get excited about it =p. At least tell us if it is an rpg, bound, mini games...
